- EN: Time to finish the maculata breeding project... jest rehouse every sling to a different pot. I won't lie, this took quite a lot of time, it took me about 2 evenings to finish everything... but nonetheless, it had to be done. Were there escapees? Let's find out!
Enjoy :)

Thats alot! Most iv had is 138 Psalmopoeus irminia. I once sat and potted up 138 irminia, 104 reduncus and 38 balfouri. That was enough for me 😂
Very nice looking tarantula them ive got a juvenile female psalmopoeus irminia 🕷🖤 in my living room 😂😂
Everybody you know is getting a sling for their birthday 😂
I had somthing different in mind, but that pretty much sums it up x3
@@tarantuhalla certified x3 moment

The babies look healthy! I don't think i could grab a spiderling with tongs though I'm just to afraid i would hurt them! Great video!
Checked them yesterday, everything is healthy and active. Well, it's definitely a skill that increases rehousing speed, but I understand you are afraid. I also was pretty nervous x3
Manually making holes in all the lids of sling vitals is the worst. I'm getting a dremel/multitool because I don't want carpal tunnel because of spider breeding lol.
Seems like rehousing went pretty smoothly after all. 😍
I have an idea, where my engineering could help, but I won't share the secret now ;)
@@tarantuhalla Oooh secret engineering 👀
You should throw asmr in your tags/description.... I'm absolutely mortified of spiders but enjoyed the video and how soft your voice is. I will literally use this video to fall asleep for the weeks to come lol
Glad my videos help you in that way :)
AWESOME love the H.Macs not long got myself a sling
Worth it. Very spicy tarantula species ^^
@@tarantuhalla I love the markings on the adults
Hi Mark! It was epic. I wish the babies successful molts, and good luck to you in finding new owners. In general, this is not a large cocoon, again in comparison with species such as Acanthoscurria or Lasiodora, where females give birth to an average of 1,500 babies. I'm waiting for a Psalmopoeus Victory transplant🎉🥳
Their now homes are already ordered ;) Another rehousing week x3
"i need a strategy for that" LOL yea id say .............subscribed ;)
I would say... Thank you
No clue if it would work, but ever think about pre making the pots and letting them hatch in a container of premade pots alot would prob hide in pots.
Interesting idea, but there is propably the risk multiple spiders would hide in one pot...
great job buddy. Lovely spider, and brilliantly potted up.
Thank you ^^
lovley stuff
Thank you
I have 1 Hmac and rehousing was very funny 😂 my respect to you 🎉😅
I was shocked aswell... propably because they were still in the incubator.
Skål!
Wow that was epic lol. Just wondering how many H Mac you have wondering around your house now. Great job Marc.
Propably none... they were pretty calm.
Bloody hell mark they gave you the runaround rather you than me lol😂
Only one tried to escape on the floor (but, I haven't found the recorded footage, propably only my hand would be visible, trying to find the tweezers)... other than that... super calm. Definitely easier than I thought.
you are mad thats alot of slings, pretty impressing,
good luck man! x,D .
I'm rehousing the victori slings today, delicups are arriving today (so later than supposed)... I originally prepared a different vid for this weekend, but necessary things come first.
Loco...
gotta do what you gotta do ey, a bit of work there have fun! =D
@@TVelodromeWill do ;) The one I've finished writing the script for recently will be pretty important for me (personally), a vid I could have needed about 20 years ago, when I started this whole journey x3
Skål!
Amazing mate your videos are very informative & some nice shots takes a while creating videos like this 🤌
@@TVelodrome Thank you, I am trying to give my best. There is definitely room for improvement with recording gear and time spent for editing... but one step at a time.
and i thought rehousing jumping spider slings was rough. The fact that my E Chalcodes is female terrifies me. i might have to do this myself one day.
Well, you would need to pair the female ;) It's time consuming, but not that bad. Finding a new owner is harder (with jumping spiders and the A. chalcodes it's less of a problem)

Ive never seen someone picking up slings with tweezers before, doesn't hurt them?
Those are enthomological forceps I've worked with for some time. They are very soft, and get even softer with months of use (like grabbing small feeder insects). I hold them near the end, so the gripping force is very small. There were numerous moments during the rehouse were the spiderlings fell out of the tweezers, which is not a bad sign, better that way than the other. It requires practice, but it definitely helps with those tasks... the biggest risk is poking the sling, but everything needs to be learned and requires practice, like grabbing bigger Ts with tweezers. I was a bit worried in the beginning, but it went pretty well.
Nothing was harmed, everything lives and has sworn revenge against me ;)
@@tarantuhalla thank you, this was very informative!
@@soldfaithNo problem, glad I can help ^^
Doesn't using tweezer to pick them hurt them at all🤔?
Also, are you selling the Victorii?
No, the Ts aren't hurt, I'm very delicate with that. I'm selling and exchanging at expos what I managed to breed.
@@tarantuhalla are you coming to any UK expos?
@@HellennewtospidersIf I will, then propably as a visitor.
@@tarantuhalla which one would you be more likely to go to?
@@HellennewtospidersDunno, maybe BTS.. do you recommend an expo?
Didn’t think you’d be able to use tongs without squishing them….
It is possible. Even necessary when dealing with large amounts of spiders. At least to get the job done in a reasonable time.
Będziesz W częstochowie na giełdzie 6/7 kwietnia 2024???
Całkiem możliwe ^^
@@tarantuhalla super
