I mean Scaramouche is younger than Childe (yes he is 500 years old~ but as a puppet he is stuck as a boy and clearly based off Pinnochio), and his song theme centres around childhood so it only makes sense. Childe although some of his themes centre around childhood, not in the AQ, and he is a young man so he will have a lower voice. Also the abyss trauma making him more mature (hence no light in his eyes, his acting out and seeking aggression/combat.) Arlecchino has an alto voice compared to Signora, so it only makes sense her singing is lower. She's more of a femme fatale in an edgy sense, Signora a princess-turned-witch. I presume Dottore will have the lowest voice in his song since he has the deepest voice alongside Pierro in the whole Fatui cast, even deeper than Capitano's (because he is the true Genshin Gigachad.)
This is the most accurate theme about a certain someone's personality and actions. It's perfect, in my own opinion, it's has both sides which are very important aspects, the House of the Hearth singing in the background is obviously giving the cordial front and is the most organized theme of announcing their "Father". Its the Facade that we all know, but then The transition begins to give the switch between the themes, and now it's become more diverse in music it's no longer organized and it announces the final act and Father's arrival(Phase II) After the transition it announces Arlecchino's arrival, and as the voice of her begins to unite with the House, it starts the final act but as it's developing and as its lead by The House of the Hearth, it gets completely casted out by Arlecchino, then she takes charge announcing her own act, she then snaps her fingers to quiet everything, thus showing her in control of the music itself, she then take matters in her own hands and does the final act, in her true unknown self, now its no longer an act nor a facade. This is my own interpretation.

It seems to me tbh that Crucabena was never supposed to actually exist but to make Arlecchino playable they kind of had to add her last-minute, hence us never getting any hints there were two Knaves before Fontaine. Also her whole "father" thing is really eye-rolling when you consider she uses Arlecchino/Knave, and when you take up a Harbinger name you're surrendering your identity prior to it, so it's like she became essentially one with Crucabena by doing so. Even she uses similar tactics of manipulation as her, whether for what she deems as "good" or not tbh it doesn't matter, she still exploits kids and grxxms them to be spies, when they could have a normal childhood if she didn't take them. Or she could just renounce the Fatui like Scaramouche did. Though he is evil in his own right, at least he doesn't think he is any better than the rest like Arlecchino. He is mental about Dottore/Zandik but aside from that he doesn't say he is a good person, even if he plays victim to justify himself same way Arlecchino does. It would be nice to see them take responsibility for once, like Ei had to. For as much as people criticise her, she paid the price for what she did by fighting "herself" for 500 years. And Furina didn't even do anything wrong yet she took responsibility for the sins of Egeria and enacted Focalors' plan no matter the cost. Even Dottore doesn't blame anyone, as unfair as his exile from Sumeru was, he takes responsibility and he only uses force when it is necessary to do so. Yeah, he might come off arrogant but Sumeru AQ is the first and only AQ where the Fatui were in the main antagonist role and there were no real casualties or even disasters. Dottore also played an integral role behind the scenes in helping to cure Eleazar, and gave us the information about Descenders, Teyvat being a lie, etc. Not to mention he saved Collei's life, which even Tighnari recognises, which is why he didn't have a hostile exchange with him. He didn't allow him to take Haypasia, but he also spoke to him pretty politely and Dottore accepted his answer even though he could have easily overpowered him and done so anyway. People really do not understand the genius of his character, and unlike Arlecchino/Scaramouche, it wasn't a hasty PR/damage control job to make them palatable, Dottore is just that based.
So true LIKE UGH childes is fire with all the liyue ties in it and then signoras is like the true homage to sneznhya and ofc scaras with the Latin that seperate him from really everyone else and then if you count the whale as childe 2.0 ITS SO EPIC with the completly new sounds because it's literally out of that world and then this?! LIKE SHE CAN STEP ON ME WITH THIS THEME
I keep getting blown away by how good the music in this game is. The fact that all Fatui Harbingers boss themes have such a strong identity and manage to stand out in such a way is a testament of how talented the composers are.
I'll say this definitely has one of the best first phase boss theme. It's already so powerful in first phase, perfect for presenting someone powerful and menacing like her. Second phase's best thing is the harmony between the main singer and the back chorus. It's beautiful and feels lore accurate while the dubstep part is a nice little surprise, and showing a glimpse of her true terror.

the second phase starts off so melancholic, like a howling rage of the wind and rain with how those strings are played. and then building up to the height of certainty, perhaps arle gaining power. dunno if I'm mistaking it, but around 3:49 those quick, high trumpet (?) notes that go "ta ta-ra ta ta-ta tah!" reminds me of that part in elogia cinerosa at the start of Dottore's line "conventional wisdom holds that blah blah", and is also heard in his introductory ost in sumeru i think..
Around 4:35 up too 5:00, it's as if Arlecchino is mourning her "children" that dies after carrying the House's various missions. As the cadence keeps on intensifying, it's clear she does NOT hesitate when she wants to be utterly cruel and evil.

I really liked these themes. The only part I am not wild about is the dubsteppy/EDM part past the halfway point of phase 2. It becomes a little too discordant for me there. Not that it is necessarily bad, but I just think a different sound than the exact choices they made may have been better. Besides that, no complaints from me. The tension in phase 1 is so high and phase 2 is so energetic. Both phases sound so powerful, a good thing for boss themes to be sure. The child choir(?) parts just brings me to think of the HotH which I think is a nice touch.
i honestly really like this part. i can see why it’s a bit out there since the only other time we had dubstep like this was with the whale boss. both here and with the whale it sounds super unnatural and otherworldly, so i wonder if there’s a lore reason for the dubstep like with the whale🤔

No idea, but it is fun to think about. As a standalone piece the dubstep doesn't do much for me, but I can appreciate that it will feel different and potentially even cool during the fight itself. I do look forward to seeing how it feels to listen to during the fight.

That fatui leitmotif you're saying is the fontaine leitmotif from travail teaser. so the new composer team decided to make it dedicated to arlecchino and make a new theme for fontaine entirely.
It's possible that she's training us for the fight with the 2 high ranking Harbingers, Columbina and Capitano, or that she's planning to betray the Tsaritsa and side with us if we have a better chance and bringing her closer to her goals, whatever they might be. Either way, she's testing/training us in some form.

I think it's the complete opposite? The old Knave pit kids against one another to fight to the death and beat them up herself too. Was a very antagonistic horrible person under the guise of a caring mother. Even went so far as having Dottore experiment on the kids. She chose the trio to undertake a test of sorts. I cannot imagine her intent is to actually kill them and anyone who thinks so is not paying attention.

That fatui leitmotif you're saying is the fontaine leitmotif from travail teaser. so the new composer team decided to make it dedicated to arlecchino and make a new theme for fontaine entirely.
It's possible that she's training us for the fight with the 2 high ranking Harbingers, Columbina and Capitano, or that she's planning to betray the Tsaritsa and side with us if we have a better chance and bringing her closer to her goals, whatever they might be. Either way, she's testing/training us in some form.

I think it's the complete opposite? The old Knave pit kids against one another to fight to the death and beat them up herself too. Was a very antagonistic horrible person under the guise of a caring mother. Even went so far as having Dottore experiment on the kids. She chose the trio to undertake a test of sorts. I cannot imagine her intent is to actually kill them and anyone who thinks so is not paying attention.
I hope this is not the final version bcoz I always think they can top one fatui's theme from another like childe to signora to scaramouche
since yu-peng chen left, genshin's music is kinda different, I hope his departure isn't in vain

Not a fan of the first phase it feels too repetitive but gyattt the second phase is soo good especially when she sings and then the male singer too which are like showing possibly her two sides and also maybe her title as father but being female and also could be referecing original arlecchino from the comedia being male.
