You need a keeper stopper like De Gea, keeping isn't the issue this year, he is playing well so far this season.
Cityzen speaking. He stops better than Ederson...but Ederson gives us an extra man....pick and choose your poison. It's why you need versatile players in every position and you want 3 players competing for the same position/game time, hopefully at the least playing competitively week in and week out. Manchester City has trained its players to understand you will play out of position if are asked to do so, if you are one dimensional you can't succeed at City unless you are Haaland hahah. Most players can't play for us in our system, same goes for Real Madrid. Some do well but have a falling out when asked to do things they don't like down the road when they get comfortable. Others thrive for years.
It's working for City...I am a happy fan.

Newcastle were just so tough to beat at home I don’t think any team bar City or Arsenal would have gotten a result there.
I just think we have a lack of quality that isn’t going to get the best out of players until we reach the transfer window.
We need new defenders to rotate around, a lot of young midfielders to grow into the team because without the centre being under control the way City or Arsenal have, we’re not going to see Antony, Garnacho, Sancho or Rashy get the ball on the edge of the box. We can’t keep blaming Antony when the best position he got the ball in that game was like the halfway line and expecting him to do something with it
