I like the guy (in the traditional way eh??!!!), I like what he does, I like this pedal ...and what you do too. I'll have a closer look soon (before I forget) at this little beast 🙂
I like Phil X's raw "metal without being metal" style, but I find it hard to place this amongst all other overdrive pedals without some comparison to an existing circuit family.
Well, this video makes me want 3 new gain pedals that just recently came out. The JHS Violet. The Revv G3 Anniversary and now this. I’m currently waiting for the G3 to show up at my doorstep. Not sure I can afford all 3. 😁
HI PAUL , I was wondering IF you have any expercience with HAAR guitars??? They are sold on their website and on Musik Productiv germany, they have relic stats for around 2 grant. With roasted maple necks etc and klopmann pickups. Please do a episode on these guitars!!!!!
Keep in mind it is two pedals in one. Boost with tilt EQ $150 and OD at $199 with the ability to post or pre which cannot be done with separate pedals unless you physically move their order.
We all have our preferences, don’t we? I don’t fault this video because he didn’t use a 335, Les Paul, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, PRS, Hagstrom, Chibson. A tele was used for demonstration purposes. From there, we get the general idea. Or, at least I do.
First of all this video should have been done using a guitar with humbuckers. (great mistake). Second a pedal won't never be able to mimic a tube amp. It's pure and useless marketing.
First of all, no it shouldn’t. Just because you have a preference to humbuckers doesn’t mean the rest of the world has. 2nd, at no point was it said it’s trying to mimic an amp.
I've been curious about this pedal. There haven't been any decent demos...until now. Thanks, Paul!
AMAZING sounds & playing, brother. thx for KILLER review.
Cheers Phil, it’s a great pedal. Hope it sells a ton!
Wow, great sound, and great controls, nicely done!! :))
I do appreciate Paul's class & professional manner, especially in the *warning*. Thanks, good sir.
I appreciate that!
Sounds magic as did the chat with Mr X!
Too work dude.
What a fantastic video Paul have a great day ❤😊
It sounds like a hotrod jcm800 with a boost!
Great demo and playing👌🏼🎸🤘🏼🎸
Amazing pedal. I run the boost on always for the tilt EQ
Excellent demo of a fab pedal. Thanks Paul 👍
@@stevejcurtis cheers Steve

I like it. Are you going to Tonex it?

They look great, unfortunately I’ve not tried one.
Is Phil related to Malcolm X?
@@zakklee2556 brothers! They look alike.
Drive side has a bit of a cocked wah sound to my ear. Dialing the bass back and treble up seemed to help a bit, but yeah this one isn't for me
It sounds great but I think they have priced it too high

Thanks Paul. God Daym it!! Always making me spend money.
Tele is not the best guitar to demo this pedal .
Thanks for your opinion

The only "great mistake" here, is your comment....🙄
