He lost everything, but came back stronger and more mature than ever and embodies everything that a ninja is, and that is why Kakashi is the best.

Kakashi’s dad and a friend died, and the other friend ran away.
Kakashi's father killed himself when he was young Because of that he became hard headed and believed only one ideology until Obito snapped him out of it Watched his friend sacrifice himself to save him from getting crushed and witnessed his supposed death (and actual death again) Accidentally killed his friend/comrade so she couldn't be used as a weapon (which takes a heavy toll on him mentally) Then ended up losing not only his sensei but as well as his sensei's wife in the 9 tail attack This made him a cold and fairly distant person to his students until Hiruzen created team 7 to help with Kakashi's deal Rarely if ever do we see him break under all that stress Pretty hard life if you ask me.

When things finally get better with team 7, orochimaru destroys the village and kill the last person who understood what kakashi has been trought( Sarutobi). Itachi had a chance to be a hero, by being a villain. He took it. No matter what he went trough he knew he was the hero. Kakashi was just a guy that got screwed, time and time again, wit no special jutsu(the one he created was a mess until he got the sharingan) no special family, with a dad that killed himself for doing the right thing. And no sense of doing the right thing to konoha. Remember most of his life kakashi did things just because. No sense of purpose, just a tool to be used. The problem is, while itachi knew he was a tool being well used. Kakashi was a broken knife trying to cut metal. Took most of his life to do something that he felt it was right for konoha, something that could really change the village for the best (training team 7). The purpose Itachi found as teenager as a ninja, kakashi only got when he began to train team 7. I think Itachi handle things pretty good considering it all, all he did was just he being the hero. and hero's are tragic. Itachi is a classic greek hero model. He knows he is the hero, he knows what he have to do, and he knows it will cost him everything. And he does it.

I'm still annoyed that his friend's were saying that he should have gotten over it by now (when they were younger(actually they were older then I thought, but still)), and that Rin and Obito were their friends too. Ironically I was told this by someone who claimed to work with war veterans and understood PTSD. I begged for real help for years but very little actually happened.

He is so perfectly imperfect..It upsets me everytime that Kakashi thinks he's scum and doesn't deserve anything good - but he actually deserves everything and even more because he is such a strong, sweet, intelligent, badass, handsome, trustworthy and kind hearted person❤️ Without him, Naruto wouldn't be the same, I cried like a baby when he died in the fight with pain and has spoken to his dad, which was heart shattering.. Seeing the sorrowful Kakashi breaks my heart, Naruto is the one anime that has the ability to make me cry by single scenes with just a small reminder of the pain and hardships for the character we hold dear. It was so well developed- and I think they should have ended it with Naruto instead of the continuation with Boruto. As if they can compare to the astonishing lives that made the world make sense ever since the beginning of Naruto. That had a plot developed from the first time we knew a strange boy had a dark chakara inside him. We all saw Naruto as a loser at first, admit it! It feels like so much more than a story, with the important details and personalities of each character. We watched the lives of Naruto change in it's complexities with all the dynamics, we saw detail after detail greatly impacting each character... Boruto is like it's scoffing at the classic where everything was about the Jinchuriki's, hatred, companionship, friendship, and bonds- yet his life seems to start off so much easier. Nothing can compare to the series that swept all our hearts since childhood.

I'm so proud of Kakashi... This is one of the character who suffered the most. Firstly when he lost he father and because of this, he made some mistakes and he lost first Obito.. Then he lost Rin even if he killed her, it was a trap and because of this he fell into a huge nightmare and it was not finished, no. He finally lost his master, his sensei too. But he didn't fall in the hate. He learned from his past, he grew up thanks to this past and that's why I love him. And that's why this is my favorite character. ♡♡♡

Did not really watch the fillers all the time, but I am really happy to have watched the Kakshi arc. He really deserverd that airtime. After reading the Manga for some time now I really loved to see some character based storys again and even some "old-school" Ninja fights.

I thought my life was bad, but compared to Kakashi's, I'm overreacting. Even though he's just a made up character, you can almost feel his pain and what he's been through. That is why Kakashi is one of my favorite characters, he suffered the pain, but never gave up or wanted revenge. Kakashi taught me that no matter what horrible things you go through, there will always be hope. I don't think I can endure all the pain he's been through.
I think the worst part of this whole arc is that he was made to believe that talent and genius level skills were all that were needed to gain status in the village regardless of the history of his dad. So apart of losing his dad which did take its toll, he still had his friends who were there, but losing both rin and Obito was the first time his talents and skills didn’t help him whatsoever. He realized how helpless and insignificant he was, and his emotional and mental state were deeply affected and his pride. Imagine being considered a genius and becoming a jounin at a young age, he still didnt have the mentality of a Itachi, because he thought he could make up his families shame with his skills, but he couldnt.
I've always thought of his and Obito/Tobi's life as the saddest in the whole anime. Especially Kakashi when he found out who Tobi really was. It got me to cry.

I just realized that scene on the roof where Naruto and Sasuke were running towards each other with Rasengan and Chidori while Sakura was running to the middle trying to stop them must have given Kakashi some major flashbacks of Rin running into his Chidori.

I'm so proud of Kakashi... This is one of the character who suffered the most. Firstly when he lost he father and because of this, he made some mistakes and he lost first Obito.. Then he lost Rin even if he killed her, it was a trap and because of this he fell into a huge nightmare and it was not finished, no. He finally lost his master, his sensei too. But he didn't fall in the hate. He learned from his past, he grew up thanks to this past and that's why I love him. And that's why this is my favorite character. ♡♡♡

Of course Kakashi's one of the Best character in Naruto, but don't forget Jiraya and Itachi, their death is full of sorrow and meaning too, in fact if you resume the whole manga, everything is about love and lonelyness, kishimoto has just created something that talk to each of us with simplicity, he's a magician !

Did not really watch the fillers all the time, but I am really happy to have watched the Kakshi arc. He really deserverd that airtime. After reading the Manga for some time now I really loved to see some character based storys again and even some "old-school" Ninja fights.

I thought my life was bad, but compared to Kakashi's, I'm overreacting. Even though he's just a made up character, you can almost feel his pain and what he's been through. That is why Kakashi is one of my favorite characters, he suffered the pain, but never gave up or wanted revenge. Kakashi taught me that no matter what horrible things you go through, there will always be hope. I don't think I can endure all the pain he's been through.

It's so easy to ignore it if you just concentrate on this amazing amv you made!
I think the worst part of this whole arc is that he was made to believe that talent and genius level skills were all that were needed to gain status in the village regardless of the history of his dad. So apart of losing his dad which did take its toll, he still had his friends who were there, but losing both rin and Obito was the first time his talents and skills didn’t help him whatsoever. He realized how helpless and insignificant he was, and his emotional and mental state were deeply affected and his pride. Imagine being considered a genius and becoming a jounin at a young age, he still didnt have the mentality of a Itachi, because he thought he could make up his families shame with his skills, but he couldnt.
So good. It's 2019, but I'm still here

Naruto's life has been nothing compared to the hell Kakashi went through and continues to.
I've always thought of his and Obito/Tobi's life as the saddest in the whole anime. Especially Kakashi when he found out who Tobi really was. It got me to cry.

theelamon1 Kakashi went through a similar thing. His dad 'betrayed' the village and people looked down at him because of that. And all of Kakashi's closest friends have died.....look at the poor guy the only old friends he had left 3rd Hokage and yamato have both died
i know its both really sad and kakashi's story is probably more sad then naruto but still. its not like its nothing in compare

I just realized that scene on the roof where Naruto and Sasuke were running towards each other with Rasengan and Chidori while Sakura was running to the middle trying to stop them must have given Kakashi some major flashbacks of Rin running into his Chidori.
