- Lets fix this old multieffect guitar boss me25 from rolland, major problem is from potensio variable volume, switching and led display error, and sound goes to be shack radio
So removing the capacitors won't affect the processor in future? please reply iam having the same issue as yours.
if you have the same value of this caps you can replace it with new one, if not just remove it. the processor still save coz theres so many resistor and caps on the line.. its same way with phonecell whos dead causing by broken caps, just remove it and phone will on again..

no, potensio just a knob, its damaged causing by rust and dust, not auto changing the value like that.
how your guitar potensio if damage? it sound must be shack when you rotate the knob.
you can explore many videos by others uploader when they changing the potensio knob. the result of digital number on display still run.
just use the simple method. open the case, put all jack and hear the sound on speaker, and you should hear the pcb board sound (withouth out put sound-silent room) than you can diagnose the problem.
no potensio can run by it self. even it broken or damage inside that potensio.

cek kondisi adaptor, cek polaritas -/+, cek tanpa adaptor pake batere saja, final result ic power short, angkat dan ganti ic power, ada kode ic,
scroll dan baca komentar yg sdh ada disitu sdh dijelaskan.

The simple and easy ways is take it to the street electro repair, they will help you, the repairman on their small store more have experience than us, coz its imposible we take it to oficial store to service it.. just keep seaching the electro repairman i believe they can help you 🙏

ya harus di ukur dulu bro, klow emang capasitornya sdh gak fungsi aplg short ya harus diganti (kalau ada persamaannya) atau di lepas aja... dan test lagi

its depend on your case, you must measure all of it, for me its fix the caps is fail...so i just removed it coz i dont have the spare of that caps... just try it and test again, thanks

Hows big the value of that volume that jump? Mine its about +2-2,
My sugesstion for you, pull down all knob potensio and than turn on the fx..
If there on, and still running from 0 to that point i consider take out the potensio of that board, just to test it without potensio volume, if normal and not running away, than you should replacing the potensio with new one, or maybe you should clean it potensio first with some liquid cleaner for electronic (philips contact cleaner, etc) and test it again, i recommend you all to measure everything before you take out the parts..minimum ways with beep buzzer if we dont know sure the value of that component, just to make sure the sort parts..before you take out the parts from.board.. hope it helping you

Ada suara dengungan/mendenging dr elco gak? Coba cek ic auido dan ic regulatornya mungkin sdh aus,
Ukur dlu satu persatu elco di jalur input adaptirnya lalu ke jalur jack input(power) dr jack gitarnya...
Sesuuai jalur dr adaptor + jack input, melalui elco, lalu ke ic power dan ic audio.. karna bukan dukun santet jd penerawangan kita si pelaku hanya berada di area itu saja,
Coba upload vdonya, kondisi belum bongkar, kemudian posisi di bongkar...
Lalu ukur satu persatu elco 3,3volt nya,
Jg sambil di raba ic2 nya, cek yg ada kode ic15.. apakah kaki2 aman

sama maslh nya kaya efek saya,,ada dengingan di daerah colokan input adaftor,,apakh elconya ya bang,,,suaranya jadi agak noise pas pedal tap tempo idup,,
@@liendjarchannels323 coba sampean bongkar untuk lebih pastinya, jika posisi on (gak usah di colok audio outputnya) dengar saja suara mesinnya, apakah ada suara dengingannya, jika ada, biasanya elco sudah mulai aus, coba angkat elconya dan ukur bolak balik (buzzer), dan ukur jg brp ohm (dgn multi tester digital lebih mudah terlihat) apakah masih sesuai dgn nilai toleransinya, jika sdh dibawah atau aus, ganti saja dgn elco persamaannya, jika tak berani bongkar, bawa saja ke tukang reparasi elektronik sambil di awasi, mereka pasti bisa bantu, biasanya tukang servis tv jg handal 👍, sekalian bagi2 rejeki ke mereka....😉, semoga done.🙏

Its hard to give analisis for your case if i not measure it one by one, but i just can imagine it like an error of printer device they have any error code, and it must reset by program, with blind eyes i said its error of ic eeprom, so we can reset the device with pc programs with special tool to reset the error, or replqce the ic eepromt,
Another ways, measure the dioda bridge, takem em out and measure it,

Aman... Angkat aja asal jangan di congkel krn bs merusak jalur, (dan gk bs di ganti lg.. ) yg penting kapasitor smd nya itu pas dititik yg sy tunjukan itu, klow ragu lebih baik jangan, biarkan knob pd posisi 0 sj

@@dedyajja4709 setahu saya, (kita bicara berdasarkan fakta dan analogi-analisa saja) potensio klow rusak ya karatan, gak bs diputar, atau kalau di putar akan mengeluarkan efek suara gemerisik seperti suara radio, dan juga kalau di putar akan mengalami loncatan yg besar, karena didalam setiap potensio (geser atau putar) disitu ada semacam jalur mungkin terbuat dari arang atau induktor lainya (sy jg kurang faham) mengalami ke aus an (habis arang nya) seperti remote tv yg gak bs dipencet klow arang (induktot)nya sdh habis.
Jadi kemungkinan kecil sekali potensio akan menimbulkan efek atau loncatan loncatan jika tidak di sentuh.
Misal pada potensio gitar, jika tdk karatan atau jebol jika tidak disentuh maka tidak akan berpengaruh apa apa..
- ketika diputar atau disentuh maka akan menimbulkan suara gemerisik...
Sementara untuk tampilan layar digital kita melihat angka yang tidak stabil..
Misalkan nih.. kalkulator, jika batere drop maka tampilan akan berkurang atau hilang, artinya mengalami kekurangan tenaga utk menampilkan cahaya pd layarnya..
Demikian juga bisa kita anggap pd layar fx boss ini mengalami gangguan kelistrikan yg tidak stabil, bisa disebabkan oleh ausnya elco, tahanan R yg menyusut, arus kapasitor tdk stabil atau rusak, dan banyak lg penyebab lainnya yg harus di ukur satu persatu.
Display pd fx boss me25 ini hanya menampilkan nilai sesuai dgn apa yg terjadi pd block yg dituju melalu ic controlnya.. juga bukan berarti led lcdnya yg rusak, namun adanya gangguan kelistrikan(lompatan) pd bbrp komponen yg mana nilai gangguan tersebut sangat kecil.
Seandainya saya mempunyai alat oscilisop, maka akan sangat mudah sekali mendeteksi ketidak stabilan frekuensi arus listrik yg terjadi pd suatu motherboard..
Jd sy rasa potensio bukanlah penyebab ketidak stabilan di layar apabila tdk disentuh..
Intinya, semua harus di ukur satu persatu agar lebih yakin, dan tidak semua kasus kerusakan disebabkan oleh faktor yg sama, hatus ada pengukuran utk pembuktian....
Fácil de arrumar, em 5 minutos e não precisa troca nenhum potenciometro....

Awal mula sebabnya di ingat2 kira2 ada kesalahan apa?
Cek voltase adaptor apa sesuai volt dan amperenya, polatitas jack (arah + / - ) arus in dc nya) jgn sampe terbalik.
ini cuman bayangan di benak ku saja, klow smua lampu nyala kemungkinan ada yg short/konslet pd ic nya ato dioda bridge nya (yg kaki 3 ato yg kaki banyak gak tau jg) tp masih ada harapan bs di perbaiki, karna msh ada sinyal lampu on, kecuali off sma skali, cari jalur power suplay nya, kemungkinan terburuk ic processor kena lompatan arus listrik (bye-bye dah 😆💥💥).
Coba di bongkar, coba pakai batere dulu, (nanti coba lg pkai power dr adaptor,)
lalu raba komponen mana yg paling panas tandai smua komponen yg panas itu,, angkat 1/1 dan ukur, klow short ganti cari persamaan nilainya.. kecuali ic processor terpaksa cari kanibalan ato di kilo in ke abang rongsokan 🤭🤭🤭

Oh ya, di fb sdh banyak tuser gitar efek, ada grupnya jg, coba browsing deh.. brgkali mereka bs bantu (kirim fx nya ke sana)
