May we never be at place where we can’t sit with a sinner

Because we are all sinners. If he didn't eat with sinners, he would eat alone.

Is that because you expected more of the church people than the non churched? We’re you forgetting that people in church are still people, still sinners at different levels of spiritual maturity?

How I view the teaching is breaking bread with someone should be a common practice even with people of many differences reason why we are humans one thing we have in common we get hungry we eat we do share this as fellow humans setting the differences aside to a common practice we all do allows us to find more common ground I think it should be a common thing invite people eat with people cook for people learn about people. It's one of my favorite teachings of Jesus.

He sat with sinners because he wanted to because they're lost souls needed of him

I got into more trouble by hanging out with Church People. Than None Church People.
I got into trouble by hanging out with both. But I made the mistake of trusting the Church People.
The other people I knew and expected trouble and problems. The Church People I did not.
I found it waa Safer And Easier to stay by myself.

But was Jesus there to change them or simply teach them changing by force meets resistance teaching will allow them to learn whether they want or can change. Avoiding sin in everyday life for me is common because that was what learned at a young age I grew with those principles it's hard when people don't have that growing up but it doesn't mean they can't change.

@@curtrupp4259 Jesus Ate with sinners because he wanted to show them that he was with them and not against them. When the pharisees scorned him for this, Jesus plainly said that a healthy man does not need a doctor but the sick. Jesus was the doctor the sinners were the patients and Jesus was healing those patients with love, care and acceptance. Yes they did horrible things but Jesus wanted to show them that God loved them no matter who they were and what they've done and that Christs future Atonement is for them and not just the righteous alone. Jesus is our friend and he is never disgusted by our presence unlike the pharisees and other people who were. It is our duty to be like Jesus christ and also help sinners by being kind to them and help them in any way we can and not make the mistakes the Pharisees have.
