I also admire how you and your family speak Hindi ( and Marwari, which is unfortunately fading in many Rajasthani homes in Rajasthan itself). Even the mothers who were raised in India suddenly assume a different identity when they come to the US. In case of Poonam who spent her childhood in Italy, it is highly commendable that she can speak Hindi and Marwari along with Italian, French , English and Korean.
