So sorry for your loss and sending heartfelt condolences and prayers for you and your family. You seem like a great examplry teacher. Thank you so much for your service.
I’m glad that I came across your channel randomly but really found it informative especially talking about Death because many people avoid this topic as though they’re eternal. First time here and subscribed. Awaiting for more helpful and educational talks. My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved ones. This too shall pass.
Thanks for sharing this very moving and personal account from your life. It’s true that the idea of one’s own mortality takes a while to sink in. I rejoice in the fact that you have used the nearness of your death experience or at least the feeling of its approaching - however false it was - to dig deeper into our shared Buddhist culture and philosophy. I just thought of sharing these very poignant lines from ‘The Strangeness of Grief’ by VS Naipaul: “We are never finished with grief. It is part of the fabric of living. It is always waiting to happen. Love makes memories and life precious; the grief that comes to us is proportionate to that love and is inescapable.” You are doing great! Stay strong! May all be well. May all be auspicious. 🌸
