I think Kim Goldman is exactly right when she said Fuhrman did not plant evidence. I also agree when she says Fuhrman's racial slurs hurt his testimony. (and probably is one of the main reasons O.J. was found not guilty) Although using the "N" word in today's world is completely taboo, (if you are not an African American) when Fuhrman used it ( like in the early 70's)I would bet many white people were using it because I am white and although I did not use it or make racial slurs I heard lots of whites do so and that was common. However, Fuhrman should have known better and because he seemed unreliable to the jurors his expertise was in vain.

I think Orenthal is guilty, but Kim carried on so much during the trial that I wonder if she put the jury off? She still sounds like a cry baby. 27 years later.
@Michael Anthony: I don’t know what you mean by “carried on,” unless you’re referring to her reaction in the courtroom when the not guilty verdicts were read. Even if, it’s a real stretch to say she “carried on.” She was heartbroken long before the verdicts and that only added to it. How would you expect anyone, particularly someone who was only in their early 20s, to react to it? I also watched the trial from beginning to end, and I never saw her behave in any way that could be characterized as carrying on.
Your comment about her sounding like a “crybaby 27 years later” makes me wonder if you’ve ever lost someone as close to you as a sibling, a parent, or anyone at all for that matter. If you had, surely you’d realize that the pain of it never goes away? It’s always right there, just under the surface. And to lose that person under the most vicious and tragic circumstances would only compound the horror and loss.
As you also believe Simpson is guilty, can you really blame her reaction on anything other than seeing her brother’s murderer walk out a free man? A little empathy goes a long way.

I see a big difference between other murder victims families and the Goldman family. There's just no way that I wouldn't want to know what really happened to brother. You can see that the King family wants to find out what happened to their father instead of some signed confession. The Goldman's lawyers had a chance to talk more exclusively about Ron Goldman, but it turned out to be mostly domestic violence in which the Brown family could have talked about. We still can't reenact the case based on the evidence. I would still want to know about Glenn Rogers and all .

Okay Marc lets unpack this VERY twisted post!. Lets address cashing in . Kim and her family sued Ron and Nicole's murderer. Not so.much for the money as having the murderer held civilly responsible BY a jury. ( ALOT OF murder victims families do this every day ) no amount of monetary gain can replace the loss of Ron. That's not why they did it. If you've ever listen to their interviews. They made it VERY clear they were doing it to hold him responsible in a court of law They have said several times. They would give every cent back for him to confess.. they didn't ask for any specific amount of money. The JURY decided on the amount.
So because this case was so public and affected so many... so many gave the family love through Money, letters, gifts.. we mourned with them. Kim decided to write her books to not only tell her story, Ron's story. Her family story.the impact of the trial n aftermath. She became an advocate for victims and has been for the last 20 years..
Now.... the killer on the other hand, while still in jail released a book "I want to.tell you" and signed footballs the day he was acquitted. He had photos and videos of his " homecoming" sold to the highest bidder. Within a few months went on publicity tour doingone tasteless interview after another in which he callously attacked Nicole. Then of course there was " the interview" in which he charged $30.00 per video. He admitted without hesitation he was doing it for money. ( keep in mind he was never in financial straits. He had a very comfortable pension from the NFL Which could never be touched. He loved very well after his acquittal as well as verdict from civil trial.. he shamelessly did a show where he pranked people. Including signing a bronco. Lets not forget in the interim of his publici antics. He was still breaking the law. A road rage incident ( during which he was acquitted ) cable piracy

Off shore accounts etc...gave his memorabilia to dealers then ON THE DAY the book rights to " if I did it" became the Goldmans. Is the very day the killer decided to commit armed robbery./kidnapping.
