It is highly intoxcicating and unusual….love it!
I couldn’t agree more. Compared to allot of new launches. The scents stands out.
At first sampling this was extremely odd to me, but on skin and in the dry down this scent comes alive and now I’m going to have to get a full bottle! It’s bracing and cold for a couple of hours (which I love) but as it transitions to the mid and base it warms up a tad on my skin like Eau Sauvage where the spicy/woodiness becomes more pronounced with a light freshness still present. I think this is an excellent release.
I love EAU Sauvage. This scent is nice, but it doesn’t fit into the Dior brand theme. It’s very Chanel. I still love it though. Can I ask. What are your favorite privee scents ?
@@vscents5674 I completely agree that it’s out of left field but that’s what I really appreciate about it. It seems like Dior is going to let FK explore a bit and stray which I have high hopes for. My favorites are Gris Dior, Vetiver, Baladae Sauvage to name a few but it changes depending on the day of the week you ask me!

Gris Montaigne is a masterpiece. It was reformulated to be more unisex. Both worked by master perfumer Francois Demachy.
So the Dior formula of Gris Dior was done by Francois Demachy? He did a terrific job. Thanks for letting me know!
Hi Christopher! I added this to my collection acquiring the bigger bottle from Dior. I can see how this fragrance I would not have enjoyed a couple of years ago but as I have progressed on my fragrance journey, I now find it to be quite compelling. It is a sophisticated scent, it is not for non-confident people, it seems to be very unisex and quite suitable for either gender. Wearing it with a white shirt, suit and tie, seems perfect! Overall, there is something about it which I find very comforting. Is the word "comforting" a word that you might use to describe this fragrance?
I find Eden roc to do the same! It wears so long and picks up a different profile as hours go by.
It’s a really nice fragrance. It’s definitely one that people will either love or hate. To me it comes off more Chanel than Dior.
I recently purchased Ferragamo E Pur Si Muove. Sweet clean floral aldehydes without being overbearing. I would have mistaken it for a Dior Prive if I blindly smelled it.
I have eyeballed that collect for so long. They have so many in it though, it’s hard to know where to start. Are there any others you recommend?
@@vscents5674 I have looked at them for a while too. I only have Terra Rossa EDT (which I don't recommend unless you like simple resinous perfumes) and E Pur Is Muove. EPSM smells like a muted men's perfume counter that is a little soapy and a little sweet with the sterile note in the background. Arte Orafa, Punta Ala, and Orto Delle Spezie are in my radar but I'm not buying anything these days. They might be on discounters for under $90.
I did not enjoy this release; actually found it very offensive of a perfume. Not pleased with what FK is delivering for Dior.
I’m sorry. I can see how the fragrance can come off a underwhelming. This is probably the first one that I actually enjoyed myself, everything else he’s done is not up to my standards or liking. Although I did like Francois Demachy. I feel like it’s a tradition for the new Dior in house perfumers, to come in and take credit for other perfumers work.
The 250ml New Look 2024 popped up on eBay last week for under $300 and I passed on it. It’s my least favorite CD I’ve tried. Unbearably boring and cold on my skin. I actually enjoy Gris Montaigne every once in a while. I wear New Look (reformulated) during formal occasions.
Tom Ford Musk Pure executed the sterile clean vibe much better imo.
Maybe I should check out eBay 😂. I’m always up for a good deal. Diors la collection privee has fragrances that are either loved or hated. Thank you for the Tom Ford suggestion, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it anywhere. I will certainly try to get my hands on it.
I've just bought the new Miss Dior parfum from the Dior website for £140 ($180) supposed to smell like Miss Dior Cherie, do you know if it does? For this price I hope so 🙏
Its a dog scent. I wouldn’t say it’s the same as Cherie but it has similarities. If you like the older versions of Miss Dior, then you’ll love it. It’s a warmer Miss Dior.

I wanna try to is one but now Dior is for me is not making good fragrance anymore my fav Ambre nuit is a shadow now … I did rather buy Boy from Chanel I really love it 😍
I love the Chanel Les Exclusifs. I just get so mad because I want the large bottles, as they are the smarter / better buy. But never end up buying the large ones after budgeting all the fragrances I need to buy for the channel 😂. Ambre Nuit is a beautiful fragrance too, I just never got it to wear on me. I wish they still made the 15oz bottle to wear it more.
