If you would have continued on that road, turned left, little more rugged road, onto a large clearing or Prarie, there is the "old house". It's a house built in the 1890s out of stone and the walls are all still standing. It's next to an old river, that used to be one of the main runoffs from snowbowl and Humphreys peak. If you want further instructions, it's only about 10 min drive from your campsite. You still take that little side road up along lower lake mary to begin your journey. Great video!
New subscriber here. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. I follow several other people who enjoy doing outdoor adventures and I’m always impressed with their culinary skills. Now I can be impressed with yours and your adventures.😊 Your dinner looks delicious!😋 Just curious how you learned your culinary skills?
Thanks so much for subscribing. Glad you are enjoying the videos. I learned from my mom and also I just got recipes from the internet that I wanted to know how to make. From there its adding and removing ingredients you like and don't like. And practice, practice, practice.
@@OmarDoinStuf I’m glad I found your TH-cam channel. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. As I’ve told the other TH-cam channels I follow that I’m living vicariously through each of you.
@@rebeccadees2300 Thanks, I'm glad you are enjoying my videos. Hopefully with me and all the other channels, we can inspire you to go out on your own adventure. For now enjoy lining vicariously through us. Much appreciation.
You need to press and hold the pilot down for an abnoxious amount of time, so that everything gets glowing red, then letoff to the med setting, it will never go out
Thanks, I know. I wish I could have kept it for others to enjoy but I'm a believer in "leave no trace behind." I wish more people talked about how campfire rings are a part of that. I'm glad I learned it, though.
Just one thing, you should never use the blade side of the knife to scrape food into your pan. Scrape from the back side, helps to keep the blade stay sharp. Food looks awesome, by the way. Keep the videos coming.
What a beautiful area 🙏
Totally! It's also nice to get a change in surroundings, sense I live in the desert.
New subscriber here and Arizona resident as well. Thanks for sharing your adventures 👍

I will definitely try that if/when I have that issue again. Thanks.
Get a rake on board comes in handy
Never even thought of that. Not a bad idea at all. Thanks
You make such a beautiful campfire 🔥 ring. It was a shame to see you “have to” destroy it. 😢

You’re not eating all the food my brother. Let me come with. I’m in calif.
Ha! Made meals for days. Maybe I should have a cook out and let everyone come and enjoy.
WHY THE HELL YOU DIDNT GO FISHING ON THAT LAKE AND EAT THE FISH!!! ITS A NICE LAKE!
Many reasons. The big ones are, I have no fishing gear and I don't know how to gut a fish. It is something that I want to do and learn, though.
@@OmarDoinStuf AH OK FAIR ENOUGH...
@@jermpoz2971 You're not the first to mention that to me. It's something I think about when I'm next to a body a water.
@@OmarDoinStuf AWESOME! make sure u dont fish were gators are !
