Arangetram Galleries: It's been some time, but we continue with featuring our students who have done their arangetram with Jiva….
Our second arangetram student is Sandhya Kilambi, who presented her arangetram in 2019. Sandhya is a musician, and the musicality in her dance is evident. She was a senior in high school at this time and studied with me since she was very young. She has been a very diligent and guided student, assisting the young students in class, and traveling to India to continue her dance training. Since then, Sandhya has graduated and finished college.
In this clip, Sandhya presents an excerpt of her Padam, where Krishna, the ever-naughty young boy, eyes the dirt on the ground before stuffing fistfuls into his mouth, only to be caught by his mother Yashoda.
