It's amazing the way you take care of Reuben like a child. The way you talk to him shows that you are so attached to him. Probably, it won't be wrong to say you need him more than he needs you.
Gosh I'm 67now,as a child we had had various dogs,then butch came along,much to mums dismay,as she had no clue he was cummin,she was boiling mad,all that became history,as we all adored butch,he was a human,he was,adorable,loveing funny,he has so many quirks,especially wen he had a fart,he would jump,look around as if to say who did that? Lol... He will be forever in my heart,he had an illness,and my lovely dad to him to several vets,all the same,he cud not be cured,my dad took he to be put to sleep three times,and brought him back to us,we wanted so much for him to get well,eventually dad took him for the last time,dad was especially heartbroken,he cried every day,my dad died six months after butch passed,it was the worst event of my life,I know my dad is with 'our butch' we have had many signs they are happy together,and I mean many,they are a special breed,and I adore watching Reuben,always makes me feel I'm with butch,and my dad again,Reuben is adorable,it's forty years since dad,and butch died,but Reuben makes me feel they are still here with me,lots of hugs to Reuben,and all the family,Polly bramall Wigan,near Manchester England xxxxxx
