I rarely comment on youtube videos but this guide is probably the best Ark guide I have ever seen, everything about it is amazingly well done. Best Ark dino video I've ever watched. Very in-depth. I feel like I know everything there is to know about Gachas now. Definitely subscribing and checking out the rest of your videos!
This is fantastic! Thank you it helps a lot! Can you do a longer tour of your base? I was loving what I saw. I have a round base as well and want to tweak it for gachas.
My pleasure! I am glad you found something that resonated with you - if nothing else, at least I tried to make the Gacha fun to look at for 20minutes 🤣 and had a great time while doing so.
Oh my gosh yes!! I would go for a big old Gacha plushie. A weighted one with beans in the bum. 🤣 But honestly, I think collectible plushies and figurines would do well.
@ yeah personally what I would like to see is maybe they could make action figures of all the character characters in the Survivor notes. Maybe each character could come with assorted weapons and maybe even a Dino. For example, I can imagine the Helena Walker figure coming with a modern assault rifle and a Jiboa maybe the Rockwell figure could come with a crossbow and a bulb dog. And to top it off, they could probably take a note from toy lines like Marvel legends in DC universe, Classics, and have each character come with a build, a figure part to create a boss character.
Thank you so much! I never realised I had much of an accent until I listened to myself on a recording - I really do pronounce every R in a word! Some of them even twice! 🤣
If you use the no-feed method, yes. The moment they are out of render, the healing effect is no longer active and they die. So pod those babies up of you get tired of doing base stuff around them.
4:40 actually, the same thing happens if you try to tame any other wild baby Dino. I knocked out a baby allosaurus one time to tame it (I was taming the parent and I was in a dicey spot, so I wanted to try koing the baby too) I knocked the baby out and started feeding it but it too gained 0 levels in taming like if I were to just claim it when the parent was tamed.
He does yes, but the owls make so many pellets that he is quickly black boxed and then it is just fertilizer all the way! He is also super low level, so the original idea was that he only picked up the Pego poop and maybe some from tiny tames up top, but afterwards I realized he could just make fertilizer off the owl pellets as well and it still left more than enough for the Gacha with the 30 Owls around.
The Pego doesn't have a specific stat to increase the range, but it is rather governed by its overall level. So higher level overall is all you need. It also picks up regardless of its weight, just like the beetles do.
I have been trying to breed porridge and 2 have died even though several tutorials say not to feed them. Several have died because they don't eat and I am in a base far from other dinos.
If you keep their inventory open, and keep an eye on their food stat - does the stat never jump up for you at all? My very low level 5 baby died, but my 45 and up all survived. I suspect the food stat on some Gacha babies are just too low to survive that cycle until it jumps back up again. When they die, do they have anything in their inventory like poop maybe? If all else fails, you can raise them on meat, but you will have to hand feed that baby out of a row of troughs, as it will eat at lightning speed. Or, if you have Bob's tales, grind up some dinos for kibble and stack them up. 🌸
@ But if we use the cart, the plant species y trap can be automatically transferred to the feedingtrough and make the collection process easier, right? Do you know if it's possible for them to go into the feeding trough or if they can't be put there at all?
Great video!!! For element dust, do you know if it matters, the lvl of the gacha? I’ve bread my 8 so far, and have gone through about 150 babies so far, and no element dust 😢
The level makes absolutely no change to the outcome of the baby's production and it is totally random. My element gacha was a level 5 that I accidentally tamed! So far, even with all of my mated pairs breeding, I am yet to reproduce one by breeding myself. So I currently just clone the original and place a opposite gender mate down in every spot. Element dust is really ultra rare!
I am already working on it! But it is a whole new method of filming and editing than I have been doing, so please bear with me while I figure things out. ;-)
Thanks for the compliment! The new one has been built and filmed, resources counted and now just to finish the editing - the new format is kicking my butt a little bit, but I am making progress! Next time I have a build for a video, I will make sure to film it the first time around... Learned my lesson!

I just went down there with my Enforcer and it didn't upset the Gacha I was taming. But I did see that it can take a very long time for the Gacha to calm down after they have been attacked sometimes! Most of the time it works if you leave render or log out and back in. I also was sitting with one for about 20minutes before realising there was a second Gacha on a cliff just down from where I was trying to tame mine. However, there is a spot by the fallen blue obelisk for me where a Gacha was just always sad and nobody on the server could tame them. After going down under the map, I found a Gacha and a whole lot of other wild dinos just sitting down there! So I wonder if your Gacha may be close to another one sitting in the mesh?
How about raising gachas? I know you don’t need to feed them if you are within render distance but do you need to stay with them after they hit juvenile? I used to raise them but it was so long ago that I don’t remember but I think you just need to stay with them until 10 percent maturity.
When they reach 10%, you can leave your Juveniles by a trough full of meat. Or if youbdon't feed them at all, you will need to keep them in render the whole time until they are adults.
I have 6 pairs of Gacha in this pen, so 12 total. The building on camera is going much slower than I hoped, but a building video is in the works to explain it all. I did these plants manually, but you can put down boxes with a robot butler if you want to - mine just loves to get stuck, and I figured not everyone is going to have one anyhow. You can also stack the plants up high, it just looked better as one stack for the video. 🌸
I found a sad gacha alone, try everything but never change and can't take it, use like 2 hours trying but nothing works, before saw a player with the same trouble, are some gachas imposibble to take cause they are sad ever?
Originally I didn't experience this myself, but I have found one that did the same now that the tribes on my server are all taming and going down to the forest. This particular one is red and easy to find right by blue Ob. We found out that someone tried to tame him, but died half way through and he is still just there, but always sad even after he is no longer in danger. Nobody has found a way tame him yet. So it seems they do sometimes bug out, but I don't have a fix unfortunately.
They don't auto-harvest from the crop plots unfortunately - only wild resources outside like rocks and trees will be auto gathered. But if you have Bob's tales, you can set up a Sir5RM8 robot so he can do the automation for you.
Nothing at all, as long as you keep them in render. But if you really want to leave them, feed them raw meat by the bucket full. They eat much less than a baby, but still eat a LOT compared to other dinos. I would just pod them up and throw them back out when I am around base again.
As long as the babies are in render, they keep gaining health and food every few seconds. But as soon as they are not rendered anymore, this does not happen and the baby starves to death. Open your baby Gacha's inventory and keep an eye on the food & health stats and they will jump up from time to time. This is what keeps them alive even though no food is actually being given. If they sit down and eat, it takes a while before this gets replenished again, and that is usually when the baby starves.
