@@LimpyLegolas I like the US, and usually stay away from the NA vs EU battle, but why do Americans always bring up the size of the country as an argument? Fine there's more people to service, but there's also more people that can provide the service it makes no sense. If you only mean the area size then it also doesn't make any sense. USA is 3x times more densely populated than Norway which has an EPI Score of 100. If you meant the other way around that it was too densely populated, the US is 12x times less densely populated than the Netherlands which also has an EPI Score of 100.
@@drSvensen yes, both due to the area and the population. The problem with everything you said is you are talking about averages and treating them like they are true and consistent everywhere. You say US has more people so they have more workers, yes that is true sheer quantity wise but it’s not about the number it’s about the percentages. US could have 10x more workers, but that doesn’t matter if they have 20x more people to service per worker. An easy example, school A has 1000 students and 100 teachers. School B has 5000 students and 250 teachers. School B has 2.5x as many teachers, but guess which teacher has it harder? The one who has to worry about 25 students, not the one with 10. Cuba only has a population of 10m but has the highest ratio of physicians to citizens by a lot. So US may have more workers in a field by sheer volume, but if they have less per person than someone else they are in fact worse off. Same with you talking about “population density” Comparing the population of the US as a whole would be like comparing the density of Europe as a whole. It is not consistent at all. Population density of Wyoming is 6 people per square mile, New Jersey is 1200. So you think it’s accurate to say “well New Jersey and Wyoming have an average population density of 600.” Yes it’s an average, but not an actually accurate number for either of them. Norway is less densely populated in some parts of the U.S., but also way more densely populated than others. At the end of the day it’s pretty silly to compare the two.
