What he calls a "blaster" is a hydro air dryer that is a lukewarm blower that "blows" the water off the coat while straightening it. Look on Amazon for one. If your poodle isn't used to it, start at the rear. Also, I comb the dog out before hand. I use a hand held dryer on the head and face....my poodle I clip all over with a #5 or #7 blade and scissor the head and tail and ears.
The standard poodle is clipped short on the body and legs because standards have very dense coats.

I wish I had a standard poodle in that color red was what i really wanted but mom my Sadie Grace for a still shes black and silverish white very beautiful shes 9 months now how often should i give her a bath i dont do it that often she itches and dont have fleas or ticks

Hey man I have a ? I recently applied for a pt job bathing animals. Upon watching the professional perform this task she expressed the dogs rear glands several times which caused the dog to whine. Also while cleaning the ears she applied medication and went quiet deep to get out any debris. Overall the dog looked nice but did experience some discomfort. Also sedatives were being used but not sure if all animals were included ?? Is this normal procedure for getting the animals clean because to me it looked it bit much. Your response is appreciated. Could you please explain how you get them used to this and how you first got the to co-operate the first time you groomed them.
Would it not be best to dry the poodle with cool air and stretch with the hot air?
