Today I'm testing out the new matte blush wands from Charlotte Tilbury! Are they a hit? Or another liquid product I can't get to work?!

I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

That was *my* point: I’d be curious to know what she’s using. There is no shame in asking or knowing something about professional kit, people make a very good living off those specialties.

I am only here to chime in with others saying that your new hair colour is stunning. This suits you so much more and really enhances your skin, making it look more clear and luminous, as well as your eyes. Better than any cosmetic makeup could do - this is a beautiful transformation.
I’ve been suspicious of the “matte” classification for these blushes just because the swatches from CT looked more satin than matte to me. Thank you for mentioning the finish difference.
The new setup is great! Totally nailed it. Looks like your new camera/lens/color profile combination render much better colors as your skin definitely looks a bit more olive than previously (speaking as a shade twin).
That pillow talk shade is I think the prettiest Charlotte Tilbury product I have ever seen.

These are the two shades that I was interested in, so seeing them on your olive toned skin is brilliant. Certain liquid blushers don't seem too happy on my olive skin but, these two look so pretty and natural.
I love the sheen, it gives the cheeks a lovely healthy appearance - I'll take some of that, thank you - a touch of healthiness is alright by me 😉

Now I’m going to need to pick these up. To add to my 50 other cream and liquid blushes. Finally someone talking about how pillowtalk is not the best color! The lipstick makes me look dead. But pillow talk medium amd Bond girl are 😍. I’m olive light to light-med skin tone and I see now how similar our skin tones are. Beautiful on you! For liquid blushes I put them on my hand and work it into the brush and then on my cheeks. Never put it directly on the cheeks.

And the new setting is brilliant. The light is great and you look "clear". The only tiny little negative.... we cannot see your upper body now and that's sad, because I always love your clothes.

You are the 2nd person I have watched reviewing these products. The other woman is here in the USA and she didn't care for the product that much. She said when applying it over top her powder products she felt it removed her foundation and her powder bronzer. I am happy to see that wasn't the same for you. I am on the fence about purchasing one or two of these because I am not a big fan of mate products. Especially at my age. I am much much older then you. I fell like mate products make me look older. I have to say these look great on you.

In Australia, The Pillow Talk shade is only available from the Charlotte Tilbury website as an online exclusive. I'm keen to try that and the Dream Pop. . I'm searching for a nice red base blush like the Dior 999 blush.
I am terrified of blush because I think I am using wrong shades, (make up artist told me to use pink ) I do need blush as I am very pale at the moment, my skin has changed and got very dry, but think I will keep trying and go for a more peach colour, it is so helpful to see how these look. Thank you for being brave with the liquid 😂😂😂 love the hair by the way.

These blushes look really pretty, but personally I prefer the glowy glowgasm and peachgasm ones over these. however, the peach shade from this collection looks gorgeous.

First of all, thumbs up on Everything! I happened to watch this on my 65" flat screen, and you look great. I have ordered this blush in Pillow Talk. Like you, I can't wear that lip color, but the eye and cheek are Grail. I'm hoping you make us a video on those new Pat McGrath eye products. This (cheap) packaging looks like the #Clarins lip mousse. I have a couple of Clarins lip tubes, but they don’t wow me. I end up wearing them when I’m nose down into something & just don’t want my lips to dry out.
I’m wondering if there is some kind of scramble to figure a new product formula with cheap packaging. #Shiseido has a ‘whipped powder blush’ which seems a similar suspension of different pigments? though theirs comes in a glass jar
You might wish to try the stupendous #Armani blushes. I adore them, though they have only 3 tones on 3 colours.
I *love* the deep berry & deep contour shade as they are buildable & gorgeous, giving me no shimmer into any aging texture

I couldn't wait for these and ordered the pink one!! I already have the contour wand and LOVE it. I have a question for everybody reading this comment: how do you keep the sponge applicator clean? I thought you could just remove it, wash it and reposition it but you can't. it drives me nuts a bit haha
It's virtually impossible to clean without using soap & water. The best I know of is by tapping as much product off on a paper towel and then spray with an alcohol mist (small misting bottles on Amazon). That will effectively get rid of any opportunity for bacteria to grow but the tip will still be stained. Nobody likes this applicator, except CTilbury apparently... 🤍
@@cindyp5132 thank you very much! That's exactly what I used to do, but I used an alcohol based brush cleanser. I suppose there is no other way then. I think you're right, it will be stained forever. So irritating haha
I didn't think Id want these, as I love the blush-lights and thought I wouldn’t like them matte. But now I’ve seen them I want them 😂
