I think Piccolo was the first one to see the stick insect move and was simply lucky. The others were wondering where the food was. It was in front of them. :D

Somehow staying still can fool the prey. Maybe the other frogs were not hungry enough. It seemed that "Hulk" would be the one to eat the insect but it actually seemed he was not interested. But also that insect is a physically long and tubular one, and it is amazing that a frog, even a large one can swallow that long thing entirely without taking bites. You would think the insect would come out of the other side. I guess the frog digests the insect in a few days just as it is with snakes who often eat a large animal and then for days or even weeks their bodies just slowly digest the animal. I was momentarily thinking that the insect is a "Daddy Long Legs" but I think it is a "Walking Stick." I don't know if they are harmful to humans or to certain plants.

Nah it's probably because it wasn't moving with the other frogs. drop them in a pit of dead mealworms and they wouldn't eat them because they weren't moving.
Funny I just got done watching Dragon Ball Z, then I watch this with Piccolo the frog next. I don't know if that is the algorithm or just random coincidence .
Going to Second City* won evening my wife and I watched as the troop began an audience participation segment. They asked for a profession and someone yelled out, “porn star.” Okay, now they wanted a name. I yelled out, “piccolo”. And away they went improvising a skit on Piccolo the Porn Star. *it is an improv club in Chicago for those who don’t know.
I think Bumblebee and Hulk did not eat the stickbug because it was not moving. Maby they thought it was just an object since it was too big and was not moving.
