Celebrating 25 Glorious Years of Nadroop
Kathak, presented with a large number of dancers, without losing the character of the form, like in a western classical ballet. In fact, the subtleties and the nuances get emphasised by using a large group.
The images multiply; the intricacies amplify.
The stage gets divided into sections and different groups correlate with each other’s hand gestures, movements, gaits, pirouettes.
The active and passive areas get highlighted with intelligent lights.
The inherent strengths of classical Kathak thus get enhance.
