This is as excited as ive ever been as a kstate fan. Weve had great teams over the years, but something seems "right" with this squad. It seems to me that the talent of the entire teams has finally matched the talent of the coaching staff. Go 'cats!!!!

The potential is there and we have the coaches to bring it out.

You guys keep bringing up the Iowa State game. That was due to one big thing! I'm about to let the cat out of the bag. This was confirmed by one of the KSU assistant coaches after the game in which he self admitted that they made huge dumb mistake. The players were on skates. It was the biggest equipment malfunction ever. That was why the ISU offense had so many huge chunk plays on offense of 7 plays over 50 yards in which we had 3 guys around the ball but couldn't make the play. It's bcuz we wore our regular shoes the entire game instead of wearing out 7 studded cleats. We wore our regular tennis shoes and didn't wear our cleats at all. That's on everyone but especially Equipment manager Al Cerbe & Coach Klieman. Definitely an important detail that coach Snyder wouldn't have EVER missed! To not even realize it at halftime to make the switch is even worse. Hell, they had an entire crew around the field with handheld blowers to blow the snow off the field during every break of the game just so you could see the field lines. That single handily cost us the game. Even with all the 70 yard+ plays for ISU on offense, it came down to the wire. Iowa State was able to pivot when they caught the ball and make a cut and take it to the house whereas the KSU LB's and DB's were on skates essentially and couldn't cut to make the play. That was why it looked like every time we had the guys in position to make they play but they didn't have the footing to do so. That can't happen at any level of football. Not 6th grade, middle school, high school and most definitely not P4 college football @ KSU!
