Failed the "Humane" treatment certification due to the beating to death with a rock on the fish head. lol... Anyway, good video to spot light the rear dorsal fin as the marker.
I beg to differ, When you hit them on the head a couple of times with a rock like that, it’s lights out. Even if you cut their gills and bleed them out it’s a longer death. Going back I woulda edited it differently, but it goes to show that it’s better to put something down immediately rather than leaving it out to die slowly.
A few years ago I believe you did need the Columbia endorsement tag when fishing those areas for salmon, but the laws/ regs could have changed since then I would speak with a representative at fisherman’s marine and they can provide better guidance.
@@coast2coast-Rookieoutdoors what is the "harvest hatchery tag" ($33) for?. if we have "Combined Angling Tag" do we need the "harvest hatchery tag"? or is there a limit to how many fish we can put on our "Combined Angling tag"? We write the tag on the back of our fishing license?
much has changed since I have been in Oregon. Right now I believe they have it so you can either tag fish using your phone or on hard copy. If you choose the mobile option though you have to be careful to not drop it or loose it because it can get you in trouble if you don't have the fish tagged on it. Contact or reference the ODFW website to verify that's still true though!

Do I need that license to fish in Tillamook Bay or the Oregon coast?

No endorsement needed in Washington
Salmon and Steelhead are all native. The difference is wild* and hatchery. Native fish are both hatchery and wild. Stop isn't "native" as a term.
