Thanks so much for the compliment on the blouse and eye makeup combo. I didn't plan for it, but I reached for what was calling to me today. I really like the LoveShine lipsticks. I'm glad I picked up the 2 shades I did (201, 202) They're perfectly neutral and easy to wear.
You are such a burst of sunshine yourself, so warm and funny and lovely to virtually hang out with. I hope the sun is helping you feel better. By far the best part of my month was going to Barcelona for a week! Wow, what a place! And with my husband and two other couples - 4 of the 6 of us are turning 50 this year so we decided to celebrate in style! Even better, my son who goes to college in Ireland came over and joined my husband and me for a couple days before our friends arrived. So great people, place, sights, food, wine, architecture, all of it. Some nice beauty items earlier in the month with the Sephora sale, but that was all secondary to the trip.
i LOVE Spain so much, and Barcelona is such a fantastic city. I struggle in Barcelona because I don't speak Catalan, and they're loathe to speak Castellano. (Spanish) Happy 50th! What a wonderful way to celebrate. I'm so glad that your son was able to come for a visit.

I found a CT lipstick I love Superstar Lips in Pillow Talk I love this shade it’s different it’s shiny 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🌺🌺🌺 so glad u like the Mario lipsticks Bronx Baby and Merit Baby are my favs!!! Love that Sephora sheer shine in 02 twinkle too! Not crazy about the Pradas lipsticks shades I got… I do love the tube on Mario lipsticks it’s my favorite! Love black and white gold and silver LOL! Thanks so much for watching. I've been thinking about getting some of the other formulas of the CT lip products. The Superstar Lips has been on my list of things to check out, but I'm up to my eyeballs in lip products.
The Makeup by Mario formula is so good! I really love the Merit ones too, and I reach for Baby quite a lot. If you don't care for the Prada shades, return/exchange them. For $50, you should love what you have.

Speaking about TV series: thank you for The Resident recommendation, I am so hooked! Watched New Amsterdam before, also great but with another angle, more on the current society issues via the public hospital staff story.
I watched the first two seasons of New Amsterdam, but haven't followed the rest. Maybe it's time to check it out again. I'm glad you liked The Resident. 👍

I’m enjoying the Stanley cup playoffs. I was happy to see that Spencer Lee won the Olympic wrestling trials at 57 KG. I’m enjoying the ND helper glam face palette . I like an all in palette. I like the eyeshadows because they are easy one and done looks and you can use with your fingers. It makes it easy to put on my makeup in under 10 minutes it makes me feel pretty. I also like the Moira statement shimmer eyeliners. I haven’t tried the Danessa Myricks multi chrome eyeliners. I like the Moira ones. I have been enjoying the Glossier You perfume. I got it at the Sephora sale.
I like Glossier's You fragrance, but I haven't had it in a while. I do enjoy the multichrome liners from Moira too. I have one and really enjoy it.
I'm glad that you're liking the ND glam face palette. I tend to reach for an all in one palette less frequently, but I hear good things about that one.
I haven't watched hockey in years. My husband used to be obsessed with NHL, but recently he's not been into sports much. I do have good memories of going to hockey games in the mid 2000s. That was fun!

I was influenced by another creator to try the Loveshine Lip Balm. It was late in the evening, she'd mentioned loving this stuff in several videos, and I said what the hell. I'm in Canada, and it's $50 here. Yikes! I really like it.
Wow, $50 is a lot, but it's so good. I really like the new Loveshines. I haven't tried the Candy Glaze Butter Balms, but they have a pH adjuster in them. I love the idea of a sheerer butter balm, but I don't get a long with pH adjusting stuff. I love the original Candy Glaze, the new Loveshines, and YSL lipsticks in general. Thanks for watching.

I got the Rare beauty blush in hope and it is going back. Too glory for my 50+ skim.
I feel the same way. I might have to return the rare glowy blush. 🤷♀️
I am using the Rare Beauty blush in Happy as a blush topper. The Denessa Myricks water serum isn't a fail, but I have a reaction to it. I get bumps within an hour. The Natasha Denona Hy Glam face palette isn't my favorite. I really like the blush. It just isn't my jam. The Laniege lip balm in vanilla is a winner for me. It soaks into my lips. It hydrates my lips. Love the packaging. I am glad you are feeling better. We all had Covid and now we all have the flu. The best part of my month is my flower growing and blooming. I wonder what the ingredient is in the DM Water Serum that's causing a rection? That's strange. I wasn't sure about the HyGlam face palette, so I'm glad I skipped on that. I've heard other reviewers say they don't like it much. My garden is happily blooming, but I need to get out there and plant some annuals. I just haven't been feeling 100%. Hopefully this weekend. I have an RMS order coming and I can’t wait to try the bronzer and the blush. I am on a makeup low buy and haven’t bought something for a while but this bronzer pushed me to place an order. Finally something for us fair toned gals that might not look orange! I’m also thinking of getting their cream eyeshadows, some of them are so pretty. I just have so much stuff, I really don’t need more makeup
I really like the RMS powder cheek products. (blush, highlight & bronzer) Their cream cheek products are amazing too, but . . . I'm really loving the new Re-Dimension Hydra products. I have 3 of the Eyelights, and I really like them. They don't smudge, flake or melt on my eyes, and they wear all day without fading. I don't have oily lids, so most cream products work well for me. Don't get what you don't need, but if you happen to get one of the Eyelights, I hope you enjoy it.
So glad your are back and feeling better ❤❤❤ I have loved that YSL eyeshadow palette as well, and if course I am a total Visiart stan. The best part of this month was my 49th bday with my girls and whole fam, and also the warmer weather here in New England. I am always out and about here in Salem, MA, and there are so many fun shops and tourists to watch. And as far as products, I have been in love with my Deux skin care, and my Merit and Ami Cole lip oils (yes, we made up are friends again, 😂)!

I found my Ami Cole lip oil since you mentioned it, and I have it out so I can reach for mine. I like it, but I have be careful to not over apply. (my chronic problem)

Thanks so much for the Resident Alien recommendation, I'm loving the show! I adore Andy Tudyk in anything, and this is such a treat. Also, I was wondering: I'm hoping to get my red Valentino lippie, but not sure whether the satin or the matte version is the best choice. I usually prefer mattes (non-drying ones) because they tend to stay put and can also be blurred around the edges for that "bouche mordue" look. But if the satin formula is better, I'm willing to try it. What do you recommend?

I love the satin Valentino, and also picked up another matte during the Sephora sale. I haven't had issues with the bullet breaking, so I'm willing to recommend the matte formula. The only reason it ranked lower in my matte lipstick ranking video was because the first one I purchased broke shortly after arriving. I love the formula, and it's very comfortable. I love that they have the shade 22 (a stunning red) in both the satin and the matte. I adore that shade of red. If you prefer matte lipsticks, pick up the matte Valentino. It's a lovely formula.

Hi. I’m really downscaled my eyeshadow game. At this point I just have a handful of single eyeshadows. I really would like one a cool toned quad. I can wear warm - everything turns orange if it’s warm. Do you think the Isolde or is another better? I’m not into duochrome. Thanks.
If you're not into duochrome, I'd opt for the Isolde. If you haven't tried it/seen it, check out the Viseart Lilas and Lilas Doux quads. They're cooler toned quads with a lovely mix of shimmer and matte. I have videos using both on my channel if you want to see them in action. I love that the Viseart quads are $25. If you're willing to spring for something more expensive, check out the YSL Mini Clutch quad in 100. It's a lovely neutral cool leaning color story that has some easy to use shades. I'm always happy to help, so don't hesitate to ask.
I have dry, sensitive, aging skin and went for the D&G skin tint.. should have seen this first bc the latter wasn't made for my skin profile. I will review it again when it's hot but for now - well i should use what i have but Yummy skin, here i come!
I hope you like the Yummy Skin Serum Skin Tint. I like how it looks on the skin and the coverage it gives. (not too much, and just enough) I feel like the shade range is good, and flexible like a skin tint should be. I hope it works for you. Remember, if you don't like it, you can always return it to Sephora.
@@thelipstickgal in this case it would even be justified since they did not claim the cooling menthol effect on the box. I love D&G and that they skip fragrance..but that was a step back
