    Very helpful thank you. We have a diver, non swimmer and snorkeler. So the it’s good to know we have options

      Yes, please note if you have a diver, a non-swimmer, and a snorkeler you could look at an outer reef platform as these provide semi-submarines, glass bottom boats, underwater observatories and you can snorkel and dive. See here for more info - cairnsdiveadventures.com.au/tour/sunlover-cruises/

    Very imformative video. I left a comment on another one of yours as well. I love taking underwater videos & photos, and I can't decide if I should go with a tour company from Port Douglas or from Cairns? Which of the reefs of Port Douglas or Cairns do you think are more visually pleaseing for taking video & photos of?
    Thanks in advance.

      Hello Adam, thank you for your feedback. Yes please note in a perfect world depending on your budget, if you have the chance the best recommendation is to dive from both Port Douglas and Cairns. There really is stunning diving from both locations and if you can catch it on a beautiful day with blue skies, lots of sunshine, and calm seas both diving from Cairns and Port Douglas offers fantastic opportunities to shoot nice clear colorful videos and photos. October is generally a stunning month to dive on the reef from both Cairns and Port Douglas each year. We have a reef map here that explains a bit more about the dive sites please see here - cairnsdiveadventures.com.au/cairns-dive-sites/

      @@CairnsDiveAdventuresAustralia I'll keep that in mind next time I am up that way. I've done Cairns now, so Port Douglas will be next on the list 😊😊👍👍

      Hello Nivedita, yes please note a pontoon is like a floating man-made island. They include semi-submarine tours, glass-bottom boat tours, and underwater observatories. This gives you many ways to see and enjoy the reef even if you do not swim! Please see here to give you can idea - cairnsdiveadventures.com.au/tour/sunlover-cruises/

    Best month to see turtles Cairns / Port Douglas?

    • @CairnsDiveAdventuresAustralia
      @CairnsDiveAdventuresAustralia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello Mark, great question! Yes please note you can actually see turtles all year round from both Cairns and Port Douglas. The best advice we give people is you need to spend time out on the reef. If you can spend 2 or 3 days out on the reef like a liveaboard, your chances of seeing turtles and much higher. They do live amongst the reefs, they feed and breed in the area so try to spend as much time as you can on the reefs and you will generally see turtles swimming and feeding in their natural habitat. You just have to be lucky in the right spot at the right time.
