another tip: there´s a separate "Mute" line in drum editor for each drum lane! Just drag the area to the right and you should see this near "Snap".
and another tip 2: directly in the drum editor you can trigger independent several vstis by note! for example: C1 = Kick (Kontakt), D1 = Snare (Groove Agent), F#2 and G2 = Hi hats (Addictive Drums), A4 = Synth Percussions (Retrologue) etc. This is unique. It's also great that each lane can have its own quantization.

Hi. Mr. Blake. As usual this was a wonderful video and I have learn a lot today. I have a few questions about everything that you have done today. 1. How could you change the key of all of the drum part to the key of you project at one time before you did all of the work you did in this video. 2. After you have finished making all of the changes you want to make, how would you keep the new changes and get rid of the all of the things you edited and still keep the new sounds. I would not want to have all of these extra added tracks that you made just to get to the desired new sounds that you made. In other words I would not want to confuse myself with keeping all those extra tracks. I would just want to keep my new sounds & get rid of the added drum parts, so I could move on to making more music outside of the drums. I hope that I have explained myself well. I do wish continued success with all of your future video and I also wish you continued success financially as well. Have a wonderful day and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us beginners.

What bugs me about the drum editor (at least from what I'm seeing) is there is no indicator of what note you're playing when you hit a note on your keyboard. Why isn't there some little red indicator then you play a note on your keyboard that lights up beside the note in the drum editor? This happens in the piano roll, why not drum editor? This means you have to play the notes in drum editor using your mouse to figure out what sound is where, that's crazy. Unless there's some preference selection I'm missing?

    I like the layering aspect...
I may have to use it to get punchier drums
    Thanks

hi Bill,, yes its one of those things,, I can spend a lot more time working harder on some basic sound with compression, eq, ect,,, and almost all the time if I just take the time to make a few interesting layers the result usually comes out better...
