The hair looked way better. I would not re-root. Interesting, I have some of the same techniques although I have never heard of the blow dry/rub with nylon stocking 🤩. I always have regretted any cutting of the hair later 😒. Detailed video 👏👍😍💗

You did an awesome job. I have a 2014 supper snacked Sara doll that a friend gave me. When my friend gave it to me, her hair was a mess all dry and velcro like. So I did the shampoo conditioner and then I had to soak her hair in Downey water mix for 6 hours. I just got done using a hair straightener on it. It dose look a lot better but what do I do about the frizzy ends?
I got this doll brand new three times. Once I broke her neck trying to get her out of the box, the other time was fine, I just later lost the doll in a move. I got another one, all three were brunette, and my new one's neck is screwed up, real badly. I took one look at your doll, a used one, and realized that my doll Zashia, I was right to be cautious with, having owned two other brunettes and one blond. I don't honestly know what to do other than to be careful with her. I'm fine with that though.

That's the only thing I hate about baby dolls with hair... they tangle and mat so badly! My baby pj sparkles, my my size baby doll i named Shelby, and one other doll I think my baby all gone in the pink cherry dress and comes with the scented jar of cherries, magic spoon and magic baby bottle, their hair tangled and matted minutes after I got them. Maybe my Baby All gone's hair didn't tangle and mat , but if it did, it wasn't that bad surprisingly cause i was able to fix hers with just water and a brush and my fingers to make little curls like she came with. My PJ Sparkles doll, my Little miss magic jewel, little magic hair, and two other little miss magic dolls, their hair never tangled or matted.
Sorry to hear you had such bad luck with the hair. I have found using a Pin Brush and starting at the bottom of the hair and moving up as it is brushed works really well.
That is not a soft face doll. She's the cry baby doll. That's why she has the mouth she can't pee, but she can cry that's why she has the mouth. The water goes up into her head so it can make her cry.

This is the sweet tears baby alive! She was released in 2017! If you feed the doll water she’ll cry real tears!
