Can totally relate to the “not knowing what my body needs.” It’s called interoception (understanding of your body’s sensations and needs), and it’s really common for people who’ve experienced trauma or suffer from PTSD not to have great interoception.
Having a partner like Max to be an advocate for your body’s needs is so helpful!! My husband has been supporting me like this for years as I heal in therapy and get back into sync in my own body. All the love your way gg 💕

Hi :) little late to reply but it seriously does get so much better! During the first few weeks maybe even month of classes when I was in college I was always SO emotional and stressed, I cried in class, cried in the car, cried at home, everywhere. It’s so overwhelming at first and it’s hard to imagine that stress going away but once you get in the swing of things you start to feel better!
Y’all are the best I needed this reassurance cause this is horrible so far. Looking forward to the future

I'm curious if you have the same issues as me with feeling unwell. Sometimes when I haven't eaten something I get nauseous and feel feverish it makes me soooo cranky. I thought it was normal and happened to everyone until I told my boyfriend and he had no idea what I was talking about. turns out hypoglycemia runs in my family, and I feel like I've self-diagnosed myself with moderate hypoglycemia because I will feel fine and then in like one second, I feel completely sick (from blood sugar dropping) so eating typically makes me feel better! But also, coffee is very inconsistent with me, sometimes I'll have it and feel completely fine and other times I'll be super jittery and headaches 😂
