There is a separate NPC about killing cid and obtaining slime energy, his name is burger npc and he is at the caravan point near gamemode npc
He also gives rewards when you kill cid. if you didn't get your slime energy by killing cid, you can go to burger that you completed his quest and it will give you the slime energy
Also the safest way to kill cid is at the cave alter since the rocks there are thick enough to stop cid from going to the backrooms

How do you use the r and r plus moves at the same time? Because when I try to, it only uses one.
Keybinds that have a + in them are called "Held Moves" which you need to hold the key to activate the move
You can tweak how long you need to hold it for in settings called "Held Move Fidelity", I have mine set to 1.5

I am very very angry at the devs.
i wasted all i had for the cid quest, and as soon as i spawn the boss, he uses the move where he leaps onto the air and slashes trought you. The boss went trought the ground and despawned, and i have to start quest from point blank, and without any items since i used all i had
the devs said i need proof but since i wasnt expecting the error i didnt record.

Yes you need to, but apparently there's an alternative quest for it now 🤔
I'm not sure if it still needs sacrifices tho!
Edit: There's no alternative quest, but rather, it's an npc you talk to after defeating cid to obtain him

Im not sure but usually when you die while fighting a boss, they'll despawn so perhaps its the same
