Then they asked me to sing another one after a few songs & a few redhorse beers in my system later. While the Dr Jekyll in me sang “You raise me up,” earlier, my Mr Hyde chose “Crawlin” by Linkin Park and I used to be able to do a good Chester Benington voice impersonation. Needless to say, they were shocked & I was like, “Yah got that right. I’m classic and Nu Metal. Stop staring.”

This is a common occurrence with my daughter. Our friends have always advised her to allow others to sing first because they become hesitant to grab the microphone once she starts singing🥰🥰
