OMG YES, the almond Danish Kringle is so good....I think I'm addicted to it!! The gluten free double chocolate muffins are another delish treat. The muffins aren't seasonal, and I kind of wish they were as I have zero willpower to not buy them!!
I do the majority of my grocery shopping at Aldi, but I go to Trader Joe's for certain items I can't get at Aldi. It's always FUN to go to Trader Joe's! I have my favorites at TJ's, but so many new things to try! Especially, the seasonal items.
If you like croissants either or both a box of 4 frozen almond or chocolate. You get freshly baked. So easy...just let them sit overnight and after they rise pop them in the oven and you get puffy crispy croissants. A box cost like 5-6 bucks for a box of 4.
I live in So Cal and lucky enough to have two TJ’s near by - have loved shopping here for years and the employees are always helpful and friendly- yes some things are pricy but I normally buy their less expensive staples - and splurge on yummy treats occasionally 🎉 They’ve also expanded their floor space and I’ve found it easier to shop
Cookie butter is ONE of my many Trader Joe's favorites. It is fabulous with crispy apple slices - in fact, I am having that for lunch today. Also, slathered on a piece of warm toast or french toast, it gets a bit melty and gooey and the warm spices come out more.❤
We don’t have a Trader Joe’s here in Northwest Minnesota, but when I go to visit my daughters in Minneapolis she brings me there. Love that store. Thankyou for the tour. Your children are so well behaved. ., very sweet kids.
Trader Joe's is an experience!! I have been enjoying the experience for the last 40 years. Just sit back, relax and enjoy. The TJ butter is without growth hormones and the butter I use all the time. Just remember all things in moderation. Have a Very Merry Christmas an a Happy Healthy New Year.
Thanks for being you. I had a shitty morning some checkout person at our local store freaked out at me, idk. We don't have a Trader Joe's in the real upstate NY. However my sweet adult daughter sent me a ton of Joe's stuff b4 she moved to Okinawa with my granddaughters, one here and one in the belly. Rough day, hope yours was great because you make me smile.
The frozen croissants are amazing!!! But be sure you follow instructions so they thaw and rise correctly. If you do, it’s like France came to visit. Soo good!!
Have you ever had a Gyro? If you like it, the meat they sell by itself is really good. All Eggs are very good price in my opinion. Veggie rice in freezer section is good. Put soy sauce and it taste like Chinese fried rice. Reese’s buttercups are delicious. Their olive oils are good. Their pizzas are good too. Sooo many things are yummy! And if you like Ezekiel Bread it’s the best price anywhere!
Sweet potato Gnocchi- Frozen great side dish PP&J Duo sticks-snack Turkey Gobbler Wrap- Seasonal Pancake Bread- Its more like a cake loaf AMAZING! Orange Cranberry Scones Hold the cone Vanilla chocolate chip
I recognize the store you were at, that’s a Trader Joe’s I go to regularly. highly recommend the chicken tikka masala and orange chicken with the veggie fried rice-it’s a go to meal when I just don’t know what to do it don’t feel like cooking. I do like Trader Joe’s spices section and they get some great cheeses and affordable wine.
So many things! The frozen Indian meals are delicious and the garlic naan in the air fryer! The mini wontons, and bulgogi fried rice, and so many of the holiday frozen apps! Love seeing your TJ journey and glad you’ll be back.
Katie Hespe is a former TJ employee & still goes there often. She is a vegetarian, but her husband is not. One young boy, Benson. You should watch them a bit. One day she will show the haul; the next they do a taste test video. Katie Hespe.
Try the Hot & Sweet pickled Jalapenos, the Garlic & Jalapeno Hot Sauce, and in the frozen section Tteok Bok Ki (Spicy Korean Rice cakes in sauce)- skillet cooked directions.
this was so fun to watch, this is actually the trader joes i go to! i love it there. the vegetable spring rolls are super good, they taste like ones you’d get at a restaurant when you air fry them
My daughter in law is a Trader Joe's faithful shopper. My grandkids love the Wassail Punch, snacks and Jo Joe's cookies. My son loves Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, but he's totally into the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. They also come in a larger tub size. I have tried their ready made salads and I love their Cobb Salad. As for the unsalted Butter, I buy the Kirkland Unsalted unsalted Butter because I am on a low sodium diet. It's better than the Members Mark unsalted Butter at Sam's. You can buy it in 4 1 pound sticks or in the blocks at Costco for around 17 bucks it also freezes well. Enjoy your new finds from Trader Joe's ❤
The cookie butter is like those windmill cookies made into a spread. They sometimes call them speculoos cookies. My favorite way to use it is spread on a toasted French toast bagel 😊
Trader Joe’s recommendations. Focaccia with parm and sun dried tomatoes, both cinnamon and pumpkin(seasonal) brioche which makes great toast and French toast, frozen potato hash browns, kung po chicken, cinnamon graham crackers, Mac n’ cheese balls( dip in hot sauce😋) and mango peach orange juice. Great flowers and seasonal plants👍
I'm going on the 20th for a stock up. My daughter and I make a special trip down (an hour drive) every 3 months and hit our favorite crafts store. Have lunch and drive back. We love TJs.
I ALWAYS get the cod and tilapia filets, mini party meatballs, fried rice, gyozas, oh gosh, I can't name all my regulars, too many to list. I love that store, they have healthier options than regular grocery stores. My daughter gets gluten free products for her son. I think this will probably be a regular stop for you.
The apples at Trader Joe's are really good and a good value. I usually buy my apples there instead of Aldi and Costco due to the combo of quality and price.
Trader Joe’s is a family favorite of ours. My kids always enjoyed the mandarin orange chicken. The kung pao is also delicious. Their fried rice is good and also in the freezer section. I know a lot of people really like the cookie butter. My reaction was similar to yours. How fun for you all! Thank you for taking us along.
Love that you have 5 kids they are beautiful gifts from God. I have 5 children also but I'm old ( fifties ) and they grown. Enjoy the time it goes so fast. 😊
The pizza crust in the bag (by the cold produce in our store) is one of our favorites. The bruschetta (that is in the cold area) on a toasted baguette is also phenomenal. I find that their fruits and vegetables last longer and are great quality.
My husband and I have been going to Trader Joe's since 2018. It is our main grocery store other than Sprouts, Whole Foods, and Costco. Trader Joe's groceries specifically organic are the best priced
We love the orange chicken, we cook it up in the air fryer and it is amazing! I also love the almond filled croissants in the frozen section. You let them proof overnight on a counter and they get to be the size of your hand!
So happy to see you and your family at Trader Joes! It is a store I shop at weekly. I like the chicken tika masala in the frozen section, the unexpected cheddar cheese spread, the chocolate mini sheet cake, the cinnamon coffee cake muffins, and peppermint hold the cone. I love the Danish butter cookies. I haven't seen them at the store this year.
Fun video seeing your first time! I usually do a Trader Joe's run twice a month, some of my TJ must haves are: Unexpexted Chedder Cheese (block, spreadable or shredded), Olive Fougasse bread, Thai Vegetable Gyoza (frozen potstickers), Cilantro Dressing (in the salad cooler), Roasted Garlic and Pesto Pizza and for something sweet their New York Cheesecake is sooo good 😋(and a great price)!

Seasonal go-to’s are the tangerine ice cream bars! Plus, the dark chocolate pb cups are the bomb! My hubby loves their blood orange soda. Glad y’all got a good taste of TJ’s!
Cute family trip! That looks like a big Trader Joe's. It has a lot more items than the one closest to me. I have to eat gluten free and really appreciate their selection. The GF coffee cake muffins are divine and my boys love the scandinavian swimmers. Happy Holidays!
Love me some Trader Joe's. On my must buy list is the 'Un-expected Cheddar' cheese. The frozen crushed garlic and frozen crushed ginger for cooking; it's like cooking with fresh without the mess and you always have it when you need it. Also I keep a stock of the Trader Joe's brand enchilada sauce that comes in a glass bottle; the best store bought I've found. They change out their seasonal items, so if you find something you want to try... get it! When they are gone, they're gone. Have fun!
I eat the cookie butter with a spoon, but sometimes I'll get a pack of Biscoff cookies and make cookie sandwiches with them and the cookie butter and have a cup of tea
You are closer than I realized. I’m in Kansas and if I wanted to go to a Trader Joe’s I have to go to Missouri. So, hello neighbor. I’m in NE Kansas. Never been there either but I’m making a trip over. Love your trying things for us and taking us along. Love 💕 and Hugs. ❤❤❤
I've never been to TJ, waiting for my friends to take me. Lol. I cannot believe the milk price holy moly we pay $3.98-$4.33 a gallon. Ugh. I used to sing the Wassail song in Madrigals too😁 Enjoying your videos Thank you.
TJ favs: individual frozen mini spinach pies, frozen Turkey Corndogs, olive oil potato chips (kettle chips, style) and creamy Toscana soaked in Sirrah, Liquid Organic stevia.Chrysalized ginger and the ginger cookies in the clear container,
Must try cookie butter! Crunchy, chili onion crunch, caramel sauce, lemon curd, Christmas stroop waffle tin!( the best ever) pick a delicious cheese! Great selection, cranberry crisp crackers and everything but the elote dip! Some frozen items meals, desserts ice cream! The winter blend coffee, the skin care! The just mango slices, the nuts, scallion pancakes, the frozen dumplings, the mandarin chicken is ok, cat cookies! The bread section is delightful candy bakery section I heard the Kringle is a must try ! Get the holiday gummy’s a must for the kids get a few! Very different in good way! The bourbon vanilla cake mix! Blueberry waffles, the give stickers for the kids
TJs is Aldi North from Germany. There are 2 different Aldis . Aldi North and Aldi South. If you go to Aldi in Us - that is Aldi South- If you go to TJs its Aldi North . ALDI,Lidl and TJs are German Grocery Stores
Welcome to Trader Joe’s! The closest TJ to me is 2 hours away. How far is yours? I like trying the salads in a bag, cheeses, kettle potato chips (to mention a few).
Cannoli dip in the dairy case and the thin waffle cookies. Amazing dessert and I’ve only found it at Trader Joe’s and only during the holidays. Get some
You might want to grab a pen and paper...... The gochujang in the small square red tub is the authentic paste and right beside it is the sauce style to use as a drizzle. I definitely recommend the paste as it is authentic and very inexpensive. Also check out their spices as they have excellent quality and a lot of unique blends. The lemon pepper in a grinder is the best I've ever had (huge real chunks of pepper and lemon in the jar). I love their onion salt as it has multiple types of onions in it. Green goddess seasoning is wonderful on veggies, chicken, eggs, salad, I like their peanut butter (I get the kind you have to stir) as it is both inexpensive and good quality. Their lemon curd is wonderful. I usually buy their ketchup (great price), Soyyaki teriyaki sauce, and they have really good BBQ sauces. I also pick up their coconut aminos as well (delicious soy sauce-y flavor, but slightly caramelly as well) I like the "per piece" pricing on a lot of their veggies/fruits. You can find the most enormous butternut squash and it is the same price as a smaller one. The mini avocados are also sold at Aldi but not with the cute name tag. The French brioche bread makes the most delicious French toast ever. Their gluten free English muffins are my favorite English muffins, period - I don't need to eat gluten free, but I buy them every trip. The coffees and teas are usually quite good and have very good prices. I love the French Vanilla and 'Wintry Blend" is my favorite seasonal coffee. For frozen stuff, the garlic pesto pizza is my favorite frozen pizza of all time. I also really enjoy their Kung Pao Chicken, Beef & Broccoli (which is like Taiwanese crispy beef not like the typical Chinese restaurant style), and the Korean fried rice with beef bulgogi (don't expect a lot of meat, it is more about the rice). I don't love the orange chicken, but most people do. I love the frozen Boreal blueberries (they are the tiny kind), the frozen white corn, and their frozen mini peas. I usually buy a bag of each to use as "ice packs" in my cooler bags. The mixed berry blend is also good. Love all of their unique ice creams (haven't tried many of the alternative milk varieties though). Mint Choco Chip is our favorite. The cheese section has lots of cool cheese - even more than Aldi. The prices are marked on each package, so don't be scared of the "per pound" prices on the cheese signs. "Unexpected cheddar "is excellent and they have some wonderful brie cheese options. The fresh pasta is usually really good, as are their sausages. The meat can be expensive but they often have unique cuts and organic options. My dog loves their dog treats, which are incredibly inexpensive but good quality. I love their candles and dish soaps. For snacks, I love their unique assortment - lots of unusual types of chips and pretzels. We like their elote seasoned corn chips (also the regular is good) and the Bamba peanut butter puffs (especially the ones with chocolate on top). Their cereals are a bit hit and miss - granola options are usually very good though. Their flour is very good quality and inexpensive.
Omg. Love Trader Joe's . Ok you just must try the falafel , chunky tzitzki sauce, vegetable fried rice, sun butter cups, penne pasta, roasted garlic chicken sausage and any of the specialty breads and you just must get the. Chocolatey cats. ❤❤.Enjoy your goodies
Their TJ stuffing is amazing! Unfortunately, they only have it around Thanksgiving and it goes fast! The TJ three pack of chocolate bars are to die for!!!
Two seasonal items that are a must try are the almond 'Danish Kringle' pastry and the 'Mini Gingerbread People' cookies.
OMG YES, the almond Danish Kringle is so good....I think I'm addicted to it!! The gluten free double chocolate muffins are another delish treat. The muffins aren't seasonal, and I kind of wish they were as I have zero willpower to not buy them!!
Ooh , yum !!!
So heartwarming how your older boy in the middle seat immediately started handing treats to the back before taking his.

You made your way to my FAVORITE STORE. I’m from STL MissourI
Get some
Sounds amazing☺️☺️
I love Trader Joe’s.
I also pick up their coconut aminos as well (delicious soy sauce-y flavor, but slightly caramelly as well)
I like the "per piece" pricing on a lot of their veggies/fruits.
Thanks for taking the time for all of these suggestions! They sound great 😊😊
