- Join Sam and Justin as they dive deep into the performance and features of two of Staccato's most acclaimed handguns: the C2 and the P. This review highlights the ergonomic design, unmatched craftsmanship, and exceptional reliability that make these firearms favorites among both civilian shooters and law enforcement professionals. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or a newcomer to the world of firearms, discover why Staccato's handguns are so popular.
With 1911/2011 you are supposed to train and make disengaging the safety apart of your grip when drawing your firearm. By the time your gun clears the holser, all the safeties are deactivated, and the gun is ready to fire.
I always liked the 1911 platform but after shooting 80 rounds out of the Staccato C I’m hooked. I think I will be selling some other pistols if the next 450 rounds run just as well. After all the talk of Staccato can’t be that big of a deal I have to see I’m in line with these some people. Amazing!
I like this channel and I like these guys so I’m gonna say this. It’s a little annoying when someone is going to be critical of a gun but not really know much about it. I realize there’s dudes out there that don’t geek out on all the details but you’re reviewing the gun. I think maybe I’d know the barrel lengths of the 5 or 6 models that Staccato sells. At the very least know the details of the guns right in front of me.
As far as carrying with a safety. It’s a valid point not wanting something extra on the gun to fiddle with. However, when you train with a 2011/1911, swiping the safety is second nature. My draws are the exact same times as my Glocks that obviously don’t have thumb safeties. I literally don’t think about it. It just happens. When the gun comes up on target it’s just ready to fire. I’m getting first round a zone hits around .70 seconds.
Thought I was the only right handed shooter that likes to use my tigger finger to drop the mag. At least there is two of us in this world.
Your rifles have safeties, just saying. To me if a handgun doesnt have a trigger safety, i prefer it to have a safety lever for apendix carry. I think u just train your manuel of arms. Many cops carry safeties, military, etc.... also if someone grabs your gun a safety could by you sometime as shown in police studies.
Tons of cops carry Glocks with no safety. And you are not going to CCW a rifle where your life would depend on it. just saying
"This is my safety" ☝️
I bought a a Staccato XC; it’s a nice weapon. I think it was about 4500 not including tax. It’s a good duty weapon. It’s very accurate. I like carrying it for work.
We need in CA, dangit! FGN
totally agree
This was extremely painful to watch. Next time, learn a little before turning your camera on 🤷🏻♂️🤔
Seemed good to me. You have things to add that they didn’t go over? Please enlighten us.
Staccato shoots soft and flat but sometimes I feel like it’s too expensive to waste on a criminal. The cops will take your gun if you shoot’s someone and you may or may not get it back.
That being said I love my staccato P and it’s my bedroom gun. It an emergency I want a gun that I can shoot fast and accurate. And ultimately cost doesn’t factor in when it comes to my families safety.
Thanks for the review. What brand are the ear protection inserts? Thx
I was truly underwhelmed by the Staccato... I mean the pistol shoots very well.
For me, I shot one the first time the same time I shot my Smith and Wesson Pro Series for the first time. I didn't feel like that the trigger warranted $2000.00 more than my Pro Series...
We hear that a lot
Having shot both a staccato and a g19. Both shoot tremendously well. This just comes down to luxury. It's like owning a gshock and a Rolex. Both tell time, both are accurate in time, and both are comfortable and nice to wear. It just comes down to your budget and your style. At the end of the day, glock wins just because it's lighter to conceal carry, a much more simple to work on and upgrade.
Couldn't have said it better
😂 It's much more like a Ford Focus and a G Wagon, they will both get you to the same place but the ride will be MUCH smoother and more precise handling in one
But Stoccato and a G19 is worse than wearing a Gshock and a Rolex. Because at least with the Rolex you can claim that its engineered to a very high standard and that its like wearing an engineering marvel as a work of art. The Stoccato on the other hand can't even claim to have superior engineering to a glock in any meaningful way.
Delta Point Pro will direct mount.
Gotcha
Try the XC……. You’ll want to sell all your other handguns
Gotta try that one next
As far as why anyone would carry a $3k for duty... officers will spend crazy money on a patrol rifle and only be willing to get a Glock priced pistol. The reality is that officers are far more likely to be involved on a shooting with a pistol than a rifle. If you have to choose, spend money on what will be with you in the fight and cheap out on what will be in the car.
For sure!
@@riflesupply it's not you wanna bang up/scratch/roll around with climinals your $5k NH as LE right? not the same with the glock, disposable that can you build exactly the way it or just buy it fresh every month. It won't be the same with high end 2011's. I would go with P's all day for duty/carry that's my limit.
And they all are delta point direct mount
I never understand what people mean by “it’s not worth the money”. The machining and the design make it much more valuable than a striker fired SIG POS. Ultimately, all guns just…shoot bullets. But there are levels to everything. We’re talking about small differences that make for advanced performance. I just wonder what people are looking for when they shoot an expensive gun vs a TISAS or Taurus…
its a good shooter
😂 If it's too dark to shoot with fiber it's too dark to see your target.
Ask handgun supply! 😜
Walther PDP F
ok ok
Just a suggestion, a little preparation before you turn on the camera might be a good idea. That way you don’t look like an idiot. I would assume you plan your range days with a goal in mind. As for man safety operation, try training. It’s the remedy for ineptitude. Yes, Stacattos are more expensive than Glocks and Corvetts cost more than Novas. That being said, most folks would pick the corvette. Glad I don’t live in California anymore.
Feedback is feedback, appreciate it lol
I have Legions, race guns, etc etc. My advice to everyone is.... buy a pistol or carry pistol that is at that 500-700 range and train or upgrade it. Race guns are great for shooting range days. Not really combat and conseal carried. I grabbed 2 VP9s recently with 6 mags a piece for 499 new. I sold my glock 19s for the same money. What an upgrade for everday carry.
Good point
I never understand people who will spend a ton of money on fun range guns but not on the one they want to trust their and their families lives to.
Lol
Not on the roaster bc California sucks.
Say It again lol
Get off my lawn!
