This is a girl of my own heart... I love anything rustic and ancient looking going back to roots. I am enjoying every minute of the tour. This lady is great
Can anyone say" drop dead gorgeous!!!"❤❤❤ the panoramic view is indeed draw dropping...❤..it's hard to choose the best episode, but until you do another foray?..this is IT!!..thank you so much Fay❤
I just happened to be scrolling and came up on this tour. As a Catholic kid who spent every Sunday evening here at Sunday school with my siblings, I am awash with emotions right now. I feel joy, anger, and bewilderment as the memories of my childhood days rush back in vivid color. Christmas time here was heavenly; the building were grand and it felt like you were in ancient Rome. Christmas trees with the most unique blue and green lights, the smell of the pine trees, the games we played on the most impeccably manicured lawns, the Christmas movies, the gifts with our names written on them and how our priests called us up each by name; how they made us believe in the magic of Christmas. I still recall the beautiful homilies being chanted, the sound of the Ave Marie coming out of those walls, I recall the smell of frankincense and myrrh, trees that I believe may have been weeping willows as the branches bent so low they almost touch the ground. Every now and then I have dreams of this place. I often wonder, though, where is that huge, hauntingly beautiful cemetary. It was too beautiful to be scared of it - mostly intriguing trying to read the inscriptions on the headstones. This is where my feelings of anger come in. I regard this place as sacred ground and to see that the cemetery is nowhere to be found, is sickening. I do appreciate however, the effort to preserve what's left of Bellevue and saddened that the Catholic church had to sell it. One will never understand what this place meant to us Catholic kids and families back then. SMF
Hi. It is intriguing to hear of your memories of the Bellevue property. I wonder if the property we acquired was smaller than what it used to be in your childhood. We were determined to save as much of what was here. There was never any sign of a cemetery. I wish I knew of it!
Hi Berniececiel, sorry for the late response. Please see comments from Elizabeth re your query. Thanks so much for coming along with us and for telling us about your memories. Blessings!
Wow ms fay thats a good idea the garden of saint micheal like the bromelliad its very beautiful i like it that much Thank u so much ms fay for sharing that garden amazing garden God bless
This is insane! never seen beautiful property garden like this, what a collection of bromeliads! never seen big bromeliads like that, it's wild but not wild it's sophistication, this is one of the best tour you did, thank you for sharing. I keep watching, watching . Kudos to the owner this is what we call passion.
Ouch Aunty Fay that is absoutely a beautiful taste of Heaven, I am in awe at Elizabeth's creativity. Thank you for this vertual tour. I really are in love with those beautiful flowers.❤❤
Gorgeous gardens!! Plants are appropriately chosen for that type of climate. It' s also low maintenance. Superb!! Love this tour. I love how everything is incorporated in this rustic setting. Very dramatic!! Good landscaping. Love the lawn also.
Structures do retain some of their charm through the years, even in the state of ruins. The natural art goes very well with this setting, so too the little plants growing where they please. The effect of the clustering of the plants is uplifting. This is a very intriguing space.
This was so very lovely to watch. Of all the properties I've seen and experienced in Jamaica, this is by far my favorite. The way the older elements are incorporated with the newer, and the lushness of the gardens. I am absolutely smitten. If I lived here I wouldn't want to leave.
Hi everyone. It was so much fun to walk with Fay and imagine you all there too! I truly enjoy sharing the gardens with like minded souls. Thanks for all the supportive words.
Thanks again, Elizabeth ! It was great walking through St Michael's Gardens with you and I'm soo happy that our viewers came along and enjoyed it so much!! Blessings!
Beautiful home & property!!.....with all those colorful tropical plants I would love to have property like that just so much rich land & beauty!!....great walk about tour!!...love it!!
The name of the plant that’s attached to the wall is Scindapsus Pictus Argyraeus. There are many varieties such as Silver Splash, Scindapsus Treubii . They’re all beautiful interesting plants 🪴
Thanks for the tour my friend!!! The garden is beautifully serene and flows so effortlessly. It gives the impression that if there is a need for words, they should only be whispered as any loud sound might disturb the ambiance.
Wow! The architecture, landscaping, placement and choice of plants are perfect. I would love to tour this garden and learn about the history of property. Well done Elizabeth and Fay.
beautiful but I can't help but wonder what they do when hurricanes comes by and the house is so open. Id assume the wind drives the rain in unless they have hurricane shutters to cover it up.
Absolutely amazing. So happy they have incorporated ànd preserved the❤❤ ruins.

It's still amazing how much wealth the slaves enabled the Europeans rich lifestyle!! Wow
It's good to know that now several of the residents of St. Michael's are descendants of the slaves.
