@@Black4CookBiggest difference is Campbell and Williams were the CBs for the winning streak and the zone scheme was better for opportunistic turnovers. Rashawn was better than Johnson. Even without injuries I think our defensive scheme doesn’t fit our personnel this year. On offense Kirk was better in 22, Zay was clutch and we had good intermediate routes. The offensive scheme has gotten worse and the Oline play has gotten worse even tho we benched Fortner.
@@ShonTV15 i think the scheme does fit the defense but the problem is that the best man-defender is out with campbell, savage and Jones also didn't play (or left the game) and our 2 safetys are unable to tackle and also don't look too good in pass defense.
You're optimism is astounding. If they finish even for the season, that would be a real feat. They'd have to win 9 of the next 14 games to finish one game over .500. The math is not on their side pal. Curious to see how they do. They have some tough match ups coming up.
I'm afraid we are watching a total collapse. There is no bounce back coming. I predict the Texans roll us after losing their game last week and being at home. There is no trust with coaching. After next game which will be 37-3. I bet head coach and offensive coordinator are fired. Trevor may be benched, obviously with the contract he was given, that's up in the air.
@perrinperformance1 Benching Trevor wouldn't be smart. Not sure if you noticed Mac Jones' God awful performance against Buffalo. It was worse than Trevor. But I agree about the coaching staff getting fired.
Starting 0-3 usually means playing for next season. I just want them to be competitive on both sides of the ball. They have to put themselves in a position to win the game, that means not turning the ball over, making positive yards, and not squandering scoring opportunities. All horses moving in one direction gets you to the finish line.
Ev's been through it, speaking truth. Why does Kirk seem overwhelmed... don't put it all on dude. Cam and Tra need to quit loafin', don't say they ain't..
I was immediately worried the moment when Engram got hurt. He'd basically been the #1 target. So hopefully he comes back strong. What I did not predict was how trash the O-line and defense would look against the Bills, I mean dang. That was bad.
This is 100% true. You can see how these guys operate as a team. It’s easy for people sipping beer in the crowd on Sunday to yell at them to play better.

This will be a 4-13 season, at best. This is a mentally-weak team with no direction. Pederson and Baalke should be fired by the bye week, but Kahn is the most inept owner in the NFL, so they'll probably get another year.
Also think too many players and likely coaches simply took a little too much time away from the game after the end of last year, rather than dedicate more time and improve their approach. Too many of the players also seem to lack an inherent toughness and/or competitiveness.
Mentality issues can obviously affect performance, for some people more than others. It's hard to be amped up when you're down but they need to treat games like a fight to have a shot. If it's a blowout again, I think the best thing would be to make a GM and coach move the day after. That would send a message. These have been pretty much shameful performances in the first 3 games (even though Miami was in their hands).
I hope something drastic changes with this team really, really soon.
Only thing that can fix this is a clean slate with management and coaching

It’s just been 3 games, but something about this season seems abysmal and the team seems lifeless. It’s weird.
They look so down and depressed....they have got to pull it together
Let's bounce back. Go Jags!
THEY ARE ABOUT TO BOUNCE BACK! Only three games in, it's all apart of the story. They're confident in themselves. Going to be one hell of a comeback!
What?!!
People said that about the Bills game 🤣
