Futaba REALLY needs to be in a much larger enclosure so she can fly and use her muscles before they stop working through lack of use. If no one is there to spend time with her and stimulate some connection she needs more room to fly to compensate the lack of stimulus. All animals including birds appreciate some sort of interaction and freedom within captivity.
She seems quite happy, and she is able to fly up to her perch above her abode😃The zoo does the best they can considering what goes on with Bongo, who gets quite aggressive with Merriba (the female shoebill)Futaba-chan knows that her male carer spends time with her, and interacts with him. So I for one appreciate the care they give to all their creatures at the zoo, and after all it is a zoo🙂
She does not have a choice to fly further than the top of her room, by flying across the small enclosure repeatedly shows she wishes to fly further. The only stimulus is feeding time which is minimal time as keepers have yo care for others.
@@lauratanser7578 You are very knowledgeable to get inside a creature's 💭 The keepers at the zoo can learn a lot from you🤔In fact Futaba-chan would love to have a human companion like you who can read her mind. I am not knocking you, but I think you need to consider how those who care for their creature's feel when they read a comment like yours.
I know from personal experience that carers of animals in captivity work extremely hard everyday 24/7 and admire their commitment. I am stating that animals in captivity need stimulus and space which is out of the arena for individual workers.

こんにちは〜😊既に「バードショー終了＝飼育員さんが来てくれる」というリズムがもうふたばちゃんの中で築かれていたんですよね😊だから待ち遠しくて何度も飛んで、飛んだ後片脚でリズミカルにトントンとしたり、ソワソワ、ワクワクって感じですね😉この後、飼育員さんの登場で、ふたばちゃんは完全乙女モード突入！でもこのように、ふたばちゃんのペースに合わせ、食べたくない事を察した飼育員さんがお客様に、説明するから、見てる人達も、物足りなさはあったかもですが、それなりに納得して帰路に着かれたと思います。私の後悔!もっと早くふたばちゃんに出会えれば良かった💦私がふたばちゃんを知った時には、この飼育員さんがあまり来なくなり、他の飼育員さんがメインで来てた頃でした。懐かしく心温まる動画をありがとうございましたm(_ _)m
ちょっと音大きくして聞くと、確かに飛行機のエンジンのような音がしますね。あの周波数を人間より拾うのかも。
