    Hey all - thanks for tuning in. Here's a brief update on coverage like this. This work is heavily self-funded to cover labor and equipment - we are independently owned and operated. In order to improve and increase production work, we need your help. If you have the means, check out our Ko-fi support page. Not only will you get the warm feeling of bringing next-level roundnet coverage to life, but recurring supporters also get early access to Game Two (its live for supporters right now!) as well as exclusive full-length pro games. The more support we receive from the community, the more coverage we can fund and produce. Thanks!
    - Ben

    First of all, great work guys for the video.
    But no one called Kieran's foot faults?

      not all of them are but many of them he lifted the foot before contact. super hard to tell without frame by frame though

    Can someone pls call Kieran's foot faults ? It's crazy that 3 observers can't see it

      Counted.. 15 out of 20 serve attempts were clear foot faults :(

      I think a lot of them are closer than you think. He starts picking up his foot right when the ball is hitting the net.

      @@trevorcook277 I'm very confused. What's the exact rule? Can you time stamp some of his foot faults?

    • @theroundnetwork
      @theroundnetwork  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Paq was standing in Etienne's swing-path and mentions jamming his thumb on Paq. Automatic loss of point for Numb (avoidable hinder)

      @@theroundnetwork oh didn't catch that

      @yannicneu1073 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      But did he not stand opposite of the set and outside of the cylinder (not sure on that one)? If both previous points are like i said, is it still an avoidable hinder? Because that would make any body defense not viable if the hitter decides to full swing through and swing into the defender

    • @bdantowitz
      @bdantowitz 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yannicneu1073 I think the big catch here is whether the defender tries to get out of the hitter's way. Paq ends up with his foot in front of Etienne's... a little close for comfort and a safety risk where Etienne jams his thumb.
      Body defense is definitely viable and we see it all throughout this series, but the defender cannot just stand wherever they want; they have to give room for safety to the hitter.
