In bigger cities like Copenhagen and Aarhus, the accomodation is very expensive. For a family of four, you normally need a 3-room apartment and the cost would be between 8-12 thousand DKK depending on the size and the location. But if you consider a relatively smaller city like Aalborg, you can find cheaper accomodation between 6-8 thousand DKK. Aalborg is nice city to live, we lived there for 5 years. For grocessories and other expences you can manage in 5 to 7 thousand DKK per month. For accomodation, the very popular plateform is boligportal.dk.

Aalborg is not that bad with respect to finding jobs. It may take a few weeks but ultimately you can find some good part time opportunities. If your wife is doctor then you can work full time and earn good money. But if you are a doctor then you can work only for permitted number of hours per week that is normally 20 hours. In the latter case you can earn around 8 to 10 thousand DKK per month.
