Hi I really love your videos and you can actually create art with the acrylic block, it creates some really nice watercolor patterns and you can use it as a pallet. Windy Iris Art uses the acrylic block a lot on her Chanel and can create really nice art.

In my opinion there's more forms of art than just drawing, so this box isn't exactly off theme. I also know people who have bullet journals as their sketchbooks, and the pens are really good for line drawings with crosshatching or stippling/black drawings with one or two colored accents Not everyone is into that kind of stuff, but those who are would be happy to recieve this. And the planner / stamps would be really nice for like...planning out commissions in a timely manner and just keeping your schedule organized so you can fit art in ya know It'd be good for concept sketches and such
I mean, that would make sense if it was called artful box or something. But it’s called scrawler box. As in, drawing. Plus, that’s like stuffing a diary in a box and ship it off and calling it an art supply. It just doesn’t work.
Julie Bakly People do draw in their billet journal tho. A bullet journal can be whatever you need it to be, it’s not just a planner, and it’s not a diary either. A lot of people combine their art with their journal. Also I dislike how she says “these aren’t drawing supplies.” Anything can be a drawing supply. There are artists even here on TH-cam (RaeDizzle is one) that swear by cheap ballpoint pens to sketch and learn. Drawing is more than illustration.
Bianca T Rin is literally one of those people tho, she swears by purple gripped ballpoint pens and highlighters. I can see where you’re coming from it’s just that as a traditional art box bullet journaling isn’t what you expect. Even so, I actually really enjoy the idea of a bullet journal themed box but at the same time I feel like this box felt very cheap. Especially in comparison to their other boxes. I just think it was a great idea that was poorly executed which added to the overall disappointment. If it was a well executed box I think it’d be great. And again the value just felt very cheap. And I also agree with rin, that people will find a type of planning that works best for them. For example I need a structured yet ‘loose’ kind of planner. And some people are very particular about that. Which is why I also feel like this box wasn’t very good for everyone and while you can’t please everyone scrawlrbox does a good job of putting together boxes that will be appealing to anyone. So that also made this box feel more closed off to a select group of people. Also last thing if you know you like bullet journaling then you won’t need this box (most likely) if you have figured out your preferred way of planning you won’t appeal to this box. So it’d really only appeal to people very experimental with their planning or haven’t found out their preferred way of planning. (And yes I understand that bullet journals aren’t used as just planners and can be sketchbooks or journals but what I said still applies.) Overall this box just seemed to be very lacking in the expectations scrawlrbox has built themselves. Ok I’m done sorry for the long rant.
I have tried bullet journalling but I always forget to fill in the day and then I forget another day... then another and another till I just stop eventually
I dunno about this box. In my opinion i really don't mind it at all! If i were to receive this box i wouldn't be disappointed at all. Haha i guess the art you make is all in organization and design. How you layout the pages of the bullet journaling is the art i guess. Haha im always optimistic so I see this box as another way scrawler is putting us out of our comfort zone since bullet journaling isnt really something we think of as a form of art. The stamps were really cute btw♡

Omg there are such beautiful journals all over. I loved this box because it helped me discover bullet journaling and I've been enjoying it so ridiculously much.
If I'd paid for the box and got these I'd be a bit disappointed. They are more suitable for a bullet journal themed box. Though the pens did look good, it's not as exciting as normal! As you do bullet journalling, it's good for you but I think it's the worst box I've seen.

Well that was a really disappointing box, this video must have been a bit boring for you to make. I mean I understand that you're taking somewhat of a risk when ordering a subscription box but you at least expect to get something related to what the box is advertised as, this was a stationary box rather than an art inspiration box.

I love you girl! But personally I think you were a bit tough on this box! I tend to consider bullet journal and things of the sort a type of art and for some people it is their way of expressing themselves! I think this is a really cool box for those interested in bullet journaling but haven’t wanted to fully commit. In fact that goes for any scrawler box (if your interested in markers or water color etc you can try it with this). I know this was your opinion so no hate! Just saying, I think this was a cool box and it seems like you were a bit tough on it however I do appreciate your honest opinion! Just giving mine as well🙂
As much as I love scrawler box, and bullet journaling, when I get a scrawler (I’m ordering soon! I’m so excited!😂) box, I don’t want bullet journals, I want art stuff!

I have no interest in bullet journaling so when I received the box I was SOOOOO disappointed. I couldn't do a real full piece of art with these supplies. And even if I LOVE the Edding Brushpen, I do not think there is a real great art tool in this box that will make me want to use this supply again and again... QAQ It was more like a basic bullet journal box than an art box for me...
If I subscribed to an art box and got this, I would be extremely disappointed, especially because I have no interest in bullet journaling, so I'd just be sitting there like "what the hell do I do with all this stuff????"

My bullet journal is more like a sketch book. I loooove drawing ideas in it. I did my inktober in it this past year. It’s a nice way to give myself a few minutes every morning to relax ☺️💖

I wasn't impressed with the box really, but I recently started bullet journaling to help me get my life together. I really love it and because you can do whatever you want, I actually DO draw in mine. I've been in an art block for like...three years...so bullet journaling saved my creativity. So even though this box kind of sucks, I'm SO happy you talked about bullet journaling.
I was actually thinking about starting a bullet journal this year for school! I still want to try it, but I ended up finding a planner that was organized in the way I was going to organize my bullet journal. That and I don’t have the greatest art skills, or fancy writing at that. Maybe one day though.
I love bullet journalling. I do big crazy spreads and try to make it cute. I'm terrible at keeping up with a sketchbook, but somehow I can keep up with my bullet journal (which I use more like a planner with extras) and it scratches both my need to organize and plan and to be artistic.
I think that's the point of a subscription box - sometimes it will be unexpectedly good and sometimes it won't work for you. If you want to choose your own products, don't get a subscription box. Plenty of bullet journallers do art in their journals, so I think it's a reasonable theme for them to choose.
Fun video despite the disappointing box! A few quick tips for the acrylic stamp: 1.) A stamp pad will definitely be quicker/easier if you are stamping the whole month and can be found pretty inexpensively. 2.) If you always stamp the dates separately from the days of the week, you can cut them apart and make them into 2 separate stamps 3.) Baby wipes are great for cleaning off stamps and will save you from stamping it over and over until it's clean.
Multiple people get these boxes so, they try to vary what’s inside......There are also multiple different styles of art...Not to burst your bubble. Btw, I AM OBSESSED WITH YOUR VIDEOS 😭

I might have to get myself a bullet journal. Buying a planner isn't worth the money for me because my town's stores are so expensive and I don't fill every day. But a bullet journal is custom and you can use every single page because you choose what days you plan! I love the idea of that!

I started Bullet Journaling in July and I've been doing it on and off it's really nice. I LOVE the Staedtler Triplus fineliners I have 5 different shades of blue and 2 black 😝😆😂 they are smooth! I would love this ScrawlrBox especially the monthly stamp.
They sell some pretty cheap phone tripods. Or you can set up some books and hang the camera end of your phone off the edge and film straight down. I've done that.
You can download a screen recorder, but you might want to look into which one you get! I'm not too sure on what editing things you can use on a phone though. Hope this helps

well maybe if u feel u need some redemption from this scrawler box video u could do a video and make art with all of the scrawler box supplies that u collected over the years, p.s still loved the video as always, this video helped me see what I need to get for my bullet journal to actually use it and love it, thanks bye.
I hated this box, the only things I use are the markers and I use the bullet journal for taking notes when I'm playing games, like crafting recipes
I love you girl! But personally I think you were a bit tough on this box! I tend to consider bullet journal and things of the sort a type of art and for some people it is their way of expressing themselves! I think this is a really cool box for those interested in bullet journaling but haven’t wanted to fully commit. In fact that goes for any scrawler box (if your interested in markers or water color etc you can try it with this). I know this was your opinion so no hate! Just saying, I think this was a cool box and it seems like you were a bit tough on it however I do appreciate your honest opinion! Just giving mine as well🙂

As much as I love scrawler box, and bullet journaling, when I get a scrawler (I’m ordering soon! I’m so excited!😂) box, I don’t want bullet journals, I want art stuff!
I am planning on using the scrawler box but I don’t want to waste money so hopefully when I’m older I will have the chance to! I love the way you create random things with things you haven’t used!

Aw man I would of loved this. I just started bullet journaling the other day and I barely have anything to decorate it with but I still do see why everyone's dissapointed with this box. Its not technically art supplies but hey sometimes some days are just better than others.

I have no interest in bullet journaling so when I received the box I was SOOOOO disappointed. I couldn't do a real full piece of art with these supplies. And even if I LOVE the Edding Brushpen, I do not think there is a real great art tool in this box that will make me want to use this supply again and again... QAQ
It was more like a basic bullet journal box than an art box for me...
If I subscribed to an art box and got this, I would be extremely disappointed, especially because I have no interest in bullet journaling, so I'd just be sitting there like "what the hell do I do with all this stuff????"

I'm by no means an artist, but I craft a lot. Watching you is inspiring me to pick up my pencils and paints and get back into drawing 😊 I used to spend hours doodling designs and I wasn't bad at it, I just lost interest. So thank you for the inspiration. You are an immense artist no matter how self deprecating you get sometimes 😉😜 it's endearing though, just listening to you whilst you go along your artistry. My bullet journal is more like a sketch book. I loooove drawing ideas in it. I did my inktober in it this past year. It’s a nice way to give myself a few minutes every morning to relax ☺️💖

Welp. 😅 I like digital art, but kind of handed over my tablet to my brother, so I decided to try to improve my color pencil skills. I’m having a hell of a time with blending. I know the theory but in practice, it’s problematic for me. I miss my undo button and stylus I never have to sharpen. 😩
I wasn't impressed with the box really, but I recently started bullet journaling to help me get my life together. I really love it and because you can do whatever you want, I actually DO draw in mine. I've been in an art block for like...three years...so bullet journaling saved my creativity. So even though this box kind of sucks, I'm SO happy you talked about bullet journaling.

I was actually thinking about starting a bullet journal this year for school! I still want to try it, but I ended up finding a planner that was organized in the way I was going to organize my bullet journal. That and I don’t have the greatest art skills, or fancy writing at that. Maybe one day though.

I love bullet journalling. I do big crazy spreads and try to make it cute. I'm terrible at keeping up with a sketchbook, but somehow I can keep up with my bullet journal (which I use more like a planner with extras) and it scratches both my need to organize and plan and to be artistic.
I think that's the point of a subscription box - sometimes it will be unexpectedly good and sometimes it won't work for you. If you want to choose your own products, don't get a subscription box. Plenty of bullet journallers do art in their journals, so I think it's a reasonable theme for them to choose.
Fun video despite the disappointing box!
A few quick tips for the acrylic stamp: 1.) A stamp pad will definitely be quicker/easier if you are stamping the whole month and can be found pretty inexpensively. 2.) If you always stamp the dates separately from the days of the week, you can cut them apart and make them into 2 separate stamps 3.) Baby wipes are great for cleaning off stamps and will save you from stamping it over and over until it's clean.

I might have to get myself a bullet journal. Buying a planner isn't worth the money for me because my town's stores are so expensive and I don't fill every day. But a bullet journal is custom and you can use every single page because you choose what days you plan! I love the idea of that!

I started Bullet Journaling in July and I've been doing it on and off it's really nice. I LOVE the Staedtler Triplus fineliners I have 5 different shades of blue and 2 black 😝😆😂 they are smooth! I would love this ScrawlrBox especially the monthly stamp.

They sell some pretty cheap phone tripods. Or you can set up some books and hang the camera end of your phone off the edge and film straight down. I've done that.
You can download a screen recorder, but you might want to look into which one you get! I'm not too sure on what editing things you can use on a phone though. Hope this helps
For voice overs you record audio separately then put it over your footage in the editing app you have
