In Junior Eurovision the song has to be 60% in their own language. And yeah the song is fun, they are having fun and the crowd seems to have fun, that's all what matters at Junior Eurovision!
Maybe what's missing is that they haven't performed together much. They auditioned seperately and were put together to sing this song. They still have a couple of months though to come together and to improve on the vocals and performance so who knows you will see a change on the Eurovision Stage in Madrid and you'll like it more then :-)
I'm from the Netherlands and I do have to admit that the Netherlands is a bit weak compared to other years but the Netherlands is still my favourite among all countries I've heard so far 😅
