Our foreparents told us khasi tribes of meghalaya migrate from monkhmer tribes I really shock to hear that our language are quite similar and exact pronunciation . For eg. Maw, tei, wei an umklaw, blang miaw masei
Ta'aung is Mon-Khmer people. I am Bamar-Shan-Ta'aung mix people. We have 37 different types of Ta'aung but one language. BTW, we Ta'aung don't love Thai or never has friendly with Thai( mountain Ta'aung) but thank you. ❤️😁

Palaung adapts Thai script for its written language in Thailand. In China, Tai Le (Tai Nüa) script is also used.
