The 90’s was such a competitive era for 12 inch dolls. I honestly thought the 90’s would see the end of Barbie. The Fashion Avenue line is one area of the product line that really stuck out and saved the Barbie franchise.

My favorite dolls when i was a kid was my wonder woman dolls. Charlie's angels dolls. Bionic woman doll. 6 million 💲 man and Bigfoot dolls. Plus a few Barbie dolls.
@@Barbination i have the complete series of wonder woman on DVD. I remember watching wonder woman every Saturday night back in the 1970s. Great memories. Always had my Lynda Carter as wonder woman doll with me while watching wonder woman. Those were great times for me.
Back in 2010 I actually collected the Barbie Fashionistas that came with the swapping heads! 🤍 I loved them so much and still have all my dolls and heads in my room ⭐️ I even have the head you showed in this video with the beautiful lavender hair!
Just got another maxie doll yesterday. Her hair is blonde long crimped and very soft. Gave her a quick trip to the salon and gave her a bath. Her hair is thicker than my other maxie doll. And longer.

@@Barbination yeah I usually have to do that when I get all my dolls it also works if you set your dolls hair with little rollers and you set them in boiling water for like a half an hour then take it out and let the hair dry completely yet perfect ringlets that are nice and shiny also you can get that beautiful crimpy texture if you do the same thing with braids you know you put them in boiling water after you prayed the dolls hair and keep them in for 30 minutes and let the hair dry all the way through and usually just takes over night then you got those beautiful little shiny from p waves that I love so much so much fun it's so much fun I have so much fun with my dolls feel like what you play with all that said no I don't I design dolls

I also remember so it was almost or more expensives than in itself and I remember when my mother was taking me away from this Alley of the market place 😂 in consequences I never had a chance to get one of those. event if I am fund of them. I think the fabrics is an upper fact and itch set cames with accessories, it was like going on the B.hall :) it was the same period they sold lingerie which weirdly was a gift I received then! 🤔
I don't think it would be too hard to find Teen Talk Barbie a new arm, it is always the arms that need replacing , I dare say the fingers took more damage than the feet most of the time lol.

Used to be every year after Robert Tonner announced his new collection of the year of Tyler Wentworth & Friends dolls (16 inch tall female and 17 inch tall male dolls ) i'd call Corbett's Collectables and tell them what dolls and outfits from that year that i wanted and they let me make payments till everything was paid off and i'd get 3 or 4 packages each year. they even let me do a special order once with 1 of their store exclusive gift-sets . it was a truck set that came with 1 doll and several outfit pieces in a special made trunk . thing was i felt the clothes would look better on an Esme rather than a Tyler doll so they let me substitute a doll .
