My first car was a ‘49 2wd with the single transverse front leaf spring. Flat grille and flat fenders, very little chrome, single tail light, vacuum wipers, and push button interior door latches. It had been swapped with a Chevy 327. It was the oldest car in my high school. I love the later split windows models like yours.
Beautiful Truck!, my dad had the same one with the same engine, IKA (Industrias Kaiser Argentina) Estanciera, in Argentina, the engine was called Continental 226, 3707 Cm3 115 hp, you made me bring back good memories, Congratulations!!
That was fun to watch, Rollie - but surprised the snow stumped the Willys. I appreciate the stock condition of your wagon too. If you ever want to sell that machine, I would be interested. In the meantime, let's see 'er in the mud! Cheers!
Thanks, the bias tires and no lockers on the front and back didn’t help. Thinking about putting some tow points/ hooks on it too. But for now it’s just a parade vehicle.
Nice ol wagon. Looks cold to me from here in the az cactus patch!!! I have 2 old jeeps, a pretty much stock M38A1, and a CJ5, which has the 4 speed with the v 6 engine. Both 1955 editions.nice vid!

had a 49 with a plow! With chains on I had to zig zag tack up a glass ice steep road but I made it! Keep it in high and moving itll make it!
