Vasudhara Waterfall | Vasudhara Trek Badrinath Uttarakhand | Mana Village | Mana to Vasudhara

Vasudhara Falls Trek in Badrinath is a small yet a breathtaking trek. Badrinath is situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It's one of the Char Dham of Uttarakhand. Vasudhara Falls trek begins from Mana village. Mana is considered as the first village of India. It's a beautiful village situated on the bank of Saraswati river.
Trek to Vasudhara falls is 5 kilometers from Mana village. The trek is not that challenging, but weather here can be a little unpredictable. Vasudhara is named after Ashtavasu. This deity is considered to be one of the 33 koti deities and
this waterfall was named Vasudhara after the name of this Ashtavasu. According to a belief, it is also said that when the Pandavas passed through here for Swargarohini Yatra, Sahadeva gave up his life at this very place. It is said that that the water on this falls comes from Renukut Parvat. The water of this Vasudhara flows further and joins the Alaknanda river. It is said that the water of this waterfall has the power of many herbs hidden in it. The drops of this waterfall falling on the body are considered auspicious.
Vasudhara is known for its enchanting beauty & breathtaking views. Surrounded by greenery on all sides, this waterfall and its pearl-like streams truly make you feel like you are in heaven.
