I was on exchange in Tokyo and I lived in Ikebukuro, my exchange got cut short because of the pandemic so I had to suddenly come back home. Hearing the Ikebukuro station announcement again made me teary, also I am so salty the sanrio cafe opened after I left!! I'm really glad I still get to see parts of Japan through your videos though, thank you Sharla
I'd love to visit Tokyo again. My husband and I lived in Okinawa for 4 years (air force sent him there) and we visited Tokyo 3 times. We even climbed Fuji (it was an amazing experience but never again!). If you get the chance, I HIGHLY recommend visiting Okinawa. You can get cheap flights from the mainland and there's plenty of hotels there. The humidity can be brutal this time of year though.

That Pokémon Go store is cool...they have merch of the in-game gifts that's awesome LOL The only hydrangeas in my life have been in Animal Crossing. I bought some bushes from Leif and planted them not too long ago. I've been buying flower seeds from him too...maybe a little too many actually, cause my flower patches are getting a little out of control now. It rains a lot on my island so that's probably why.
Hey Sharla!!, Ok first off, that Black Dress with the Red flowers, I think looks awesome!, at the beginning of the video I was like the shinkansen is sooooo empty...that makes me sad. When I visited in 2010 it was rainy season , but I loved it. Glad you had a great weekend in Tokyo with friends! I'm looking into to a work related visit sometime, involves the JSDF actually.

The universal bakery seems so nice even for me, non vagen. The Kobayashi farm seems very useful when drinking. The hair salon seems excellent because you guys' hairs seems to get more beautiful even for me, normally do not visit to such a nice salon. And I like your expression of the hydrangea as sakura in this rainy season. That's true. Everything through your vlog seems much more valuable and brilliant than just only through my own view, making me feel like to try what you do ! We went to the Kobayashi Farm place last night. It's 299 yen for all you can drink per 30 minutes, but you need to order more than one dish per person. So we ended up paying about 2000 yen each, since it took an hour to order, prepare, and eat our dishes while we drank. Which is fine, but it's definitely not only 299 yen for half an hour, especially since you can't enter without participating in the all you can drink. The 299 yen automatically renews every 30 minutes until 2 hours 30, then it's free to sit and drink all you like.

I was in japan exactly a year ago! all the hydrangeas were so beautiful, especially in Kamakura. apparently the colours are brighter in the rain :')
