When I choreograph, I'm thinking about who is going to be performing it, and what their technical level is - I'm not going to put in skills I know my dancers can't execute well. I also consider the technical execution of linking one step to the next. Just because I want to choreograph a saute, roll to the floor, kick up, double pirouette doesn't mean the music allows for the to be technically executed in a clean, cohesive way. In Abby's words, I have to "be a smart dancer" and know when aesthetics have to be traded in favor of technique. Because a clean, simple dance is better than a flashy, messy one.
Abby confirmed in a podcast or interview (I don’t remember) that she was actually dancing frl she was just doing a completely crazy dance to make sure the stage lights could show the dancers which is why she kept moving everywhere and going all over the place, to make sure the dancers talents are seen but don’t forget, being a talented dancer and a talented choreographer is different (a quote from Abby Lee miller herself💪)

To be quite honest, her choreography is repetitive and looks exactly like ever generic contemporary dance at competitions. Her tap dances lack a *lot*, particularly in variation of rhythm, and she's seemingly highly under qualified to choreograph much else (example: hip hop and ballet). I wouldn't call her a good choreographer by any means.
