I would like to inform that the Dormitory as seen here has been changed and it is not as shown here since it has been converted to 2 triple occupancy rooms. There is another Dormitory for the same.

Why did outsider they call cherrapunji ???....it's not like it is "sohra" n sohra is a khasi language. ... we as the khasi especially the people from sohra when you interact with tourist or any outsiders should correct them that they should not call cherrapunji.
Sorry about that . I didn't know it's called sohra before coming to sohra. Like every outsiders I thought it is cherrapunji. She did correct me at the end. And everyone I talked corrected me . ❤️❤️❤️

For staying in that dormetry evry individual has to pay 500 for a single day or ?...so if we r gonna stay about a week over there then we gonna pay them 3500 for one person...is it correct?..

How will you travel travel mode. Sheare taxi or sumo or local busees available for tourist places
There was one local tourist bus package in police bazar before COVID. Which would cover whole tourist places in Meghalaya. Not sure if its running now.
For exploring shillong, the only option is Book a private cab , which is very expensive like 2000 or 3000 rupees a day. since the places are in different locations. Or rent a bike more preferable. There are local taxis too but it was very hard for me to find them.
For going from shillong to Cherrapunji, I went to anjali bus stand , you can get taxi from there to Cherrapunji
When it comes to exploring Cherrapunji again there is no option but private taxi.
My recommendation is rent a bike for 3-4 days in shillong only ,then explore the places. It will be much cheaper option than taxi
@@kritisundur I am aware of that but half the time goes in travelling from shillon. I am looking to stay in sorha and othere place where I will get the sumo from morning yo travel. I am solo and can't ride bikes
@@sonalivernekar8306 yes , understood. I was solo too. But the places in sohra are remote and no public transport from one tourist place to another. So unless you meet a friend there , only option is hiring private taxi
