I was surprised how good this guy was as Hawk in Titans. He is an underrated actor that nobody knows about. He played Raphael in Michael Bay's TMNT & my favorite Thad in Blue Mountain state.

He's a really good actor, works very hard. I hope down the line in season 3 we get to continue seeing more of him but more with the main cast/characters like stop throwing him out there all alone and have him work together with the other titans and work off of each other. A good dynamic would probably be him and superboy or beast boy.
That just hank as a character though and alan portrays him to perfection. Such an amazing talent, the parts where hank was alone I loved because we see him struggling with real world issues and emotions and again alan shows this so well.

@@erads2185 tv seasons are usually 22 episodes... so it's half a season... and TITANS is shot more like a movie than a 22 episode season where all of one actors scenes can be shot all together at once and out of sequence.. unlike a show like the flash where all episodes are shot in order therefore it is harder for actors get attached to other projects (as in if you are in episode 1 and 3 and not in 2 is not like you can go shoot a movie or another show, you still have to be there) but ok, you knew that..

Thats why UK shows can have big name actors. I love Hawk and Dove in the Titans series, if wasn't for Titans I probably would cancel DC streaming service. The lady that plays Dove is beautiful. Great writing, great acting.
Not gonna lie, I absolutely hated the first season of Titans. I thought it had a ton of problems that were irredeemable. But the second season is quite a bit better. It still has some of those problems for me though like the fact that the show takes itself too seriously most of the time (too mature for a property that isn’t that mature), not enough fighting/action because of the smaller budget, and some of the casting. But Season 2 has some really cool elements added to it and Alan Ritchson is one of the best parts of the show (I actually wanted him to play Shazam lol). If they improve on season 3 the way they did season 2, then I’ll keep watching.
Material wise, Titans has not done anything too innovative. But the chemistry between the characters and the drive for every behavior of a character is so justified and clear, and the fact that we've gotten a lot of our "firsts" on-screen superheroes (especially Nightwing since the Bat Nipple movie) makes me really stick to the show. Deathstroke is amazing in season 2 and DC really struck accord with the morality of different characters with this show. Also as a fan, simply seeing heroines and heroes brought to live by an amazing cast such as Alan Ritchson is a dream come true for me.
I have not seen the second season of titans yet but the biggest problem of the first season was that rapid change in tone sometimes. Like they had those really emotional scenes...And then it would jumpcut to a guy partying or something. Like real emotional whiplash. And Alan Ritchson really had some of the best scenes that were sadly undermined a bit by that. Hope its better in the second.
