Kenny, i think ive watched every one of your videos. Cant explain how much i love this channel and how grateful i am. It just makes working with this already amazing program even better
As an amateur I've been nervous about going from protools to reaper fearing the differences in daws but these tutorials are making the conversion a lot easier. Bye bye protools
This is such a great video. Can I share templates with my buddy 400 miles away? He has Reaper too and we're working on a project together and we need to have the same project settings. Do I send him the Project template file and then he can open that file and get started just like I do?
Thanks a lot for the great videos :-) It is funny though how you keep naming the high pass filter "Low Pass"... (like here at 0:57) and on video on fx and plugins... But anyway, thanks a lot, it's really helping get the most out of this DAW.
Hi Kenny! I am not able to save a Kontakt instance with 16 midi and 16 aux tracks as track template as I want. I have midi tracks visible in arrange view and hidden in mixer view. While aux tracks are vice versa. Firstly, if I select midi tracks in arrange view, I can't select aux tracks in mixer view and again vice versa. If I save selecting all midi tracks as track template then next time Reaper will open only these tracks and not aux tracks. I know I can save as project template but strangely earlier I don't know how but I managed to save a Kontakt track template as midi in arrange and aux in mixer view. Now I wanted to add some more tracks with all routing done for tracks like reverb, delay and a submix but can't. Please help!!! :) Thank you for all your tutorials. I have learned Reaper from them.
Hi Kenny, your videos are great! Which one do I need to watch to learn how to do this? : When I insert midi media files it inserts them on new tracks. I want to make a template of VST instruments and insert the midi files onto the VST tracks. If I have a template that has 16 VST instruments with effects and I have 16 midi files to insert on them , one on each, how can I do that all at once?
Please help, how to show the way to TrackTamplates folder for my Reaper, cause it does not see this folder, and also I don't have an original folder on my mac, and I create it my self. But when I open "Track/Insert track from template" only what I see is "(no saved track templates)" but I saved it... With Project Template similar situation. Please help!

I think I figured it out. Go to 'media explorer' and drag the midi file over the instrument template.
