I follow quite à few Utubers on farms now, and everyone of you is fun to watch, each in your own way. There is such a variety and I just love to watch and interact à little with you all. I've just dicovered à new one in my own country a couple of weeks ago and it's just as interesting and fun to watch. Winter is so different here in Canada! Egypt Rose, and you too maybe, might like to watch how he built an octogonal 7 coop chicken house. He calls it the "Palais du Poulet" which is French for "the Chicken Palace", which sounds a lot like a place where you'd go to eat chicken,lol. He also has lots of small animals like 6 or 8 barn cats, a beautiful English sheep dog, rabbits, ducks geese. And each kind of animals has it's very own and very different living quarters, each with it'sown run . I have to be careful otherwise I'd be binge watching his construction projects. I did binge watch him a little at first, I have to confess, 😂. He!s:also funny and has a funny laugh. Oh I almost forgot, he also has a couple of mini pigs that gave him a litter of piglets in the summer and a surprise one recently during a very cold night (like maybe -30⁰C)where he had to rearange the pen really quickly so the babies would survive. The male had succeeded in jumping the fence, well not jumping but crawling under one really, lol. And althouh he fixed that real quick, unbeknowst to him, he was too late. And he never noticed that his mama pig was prenant because she had hay up to her belly so she could keep warm. He just thought she'd gained weight for Winter. Lol. Wow this is a really long comment, but I guess I wax poetic or rather prose-aic when I talk (or write) about something I really like. My friends, who can't watch all you people's videos because they don't understand English often get an earful, 😊. Oh! The dog has his house too, with his humans😂.
I'm still trying to get caught up with everyone's videos and make some of my own... there are just not enough hours in the day! Enjoying hanging out with you and working the farm vicariously 🙂 Hope to see you all at Petal's in April! ❤

I believe that a student who excels should have a “me” day. I have it to my kids for their mental benefit of not overloading and being able to be a kid❤ kudos to you for positive your daughter’s wishes.

I think as long as Egypt’s school grades don’t suffer, she should be able to stay home to help on the homestead, she loves to do it and she’s learning life skills at the same time and it fills her with pride!

Fathers MUST be actively engaged in their daughters life from birth. The first few years the father's interaction turns on the brain area for math! Everything is looking so good! When I was raising my kids I always gave them 3 personal days a year to stay home, as long as their grades were good. Sometimes lessons from home are just as important if not more so than the ones at school.
Good for you Egypt Rose, on the Good grades, I'd give anything too hear my Dad speak with such pride (your mom also)about me,but I never got that, and I was the oldest of 8children, 😊❤

For safety sake, you might want to paint your walking path blocks black, because with it all white, they might trip if they can't see there path right away.
Great to see you finally got a chance to get the white rock project completed but once completed in my opinion I think you would be much happier with black stepping stones to keep with your color scheme. Just a thought.

Love y'all's videos. I finally got caught up with all my channels. I see y'all aren't putting as many out, which helped me to catch up, I'm ok with that. When y'all video a bunch together into one, I think it's wonderful. There isn't any difference that I can tell, and really, it is always wonderful to see y'all no matter when or whatever. I would think this helps y'all out also so you can have time for the family. With all y'all do, now that you're both back to work, it's a wonder that you're able to get a video together and out. Y'all always amaze me! The swing looks great, and it's goat approved!😂 Great job, Egypt, on your grades! 98 on math is awesome! Awesome job around the homestead, too!I was reeeeally bad at math. Had a stepparent who used to beat me and call me stupid cause I had such a hard time with math. She always said, "Why can't you be like your brother?" He was amazing with everything. He had like a photographic memory. I love him so much. He is 2 years younger than me, and he tried so hard to help me so I wouldn't get beat. Didn't help cause she had already ruined that for me, and now I think I have a learning block with math and English. I'm so sorry if I have run on sentences, bad punctuation, etc. just all part of the learning block. Sorry to go on like that. I just love it when children are so good at things and the parent/parents are so good to recognize and praise their children. Aaaanyways, you are both so amazing that you both work, do chores, love on the animals, do repairs, have projects, raise your family and video! Whew! I'm exhausted just writing all that, and that's not even the half of what y'all do, I'm sure! I love y'all's channel and whatever, whenever, however y'all get it done and show us is fine. I’m sure you know Neco, but Brandon Eddys LGD has been badly hurt and the whole family is suffering. I don’t know how many of you can contact him but it would be nice if you could. It’s Dixie the mama dog . She just had babies a few weeks ago. I believe she fought off a pack of coyotes, but can’t prove that. Anyway I know you got Thor from them and didnt know if you kept in contact with him. Your farm looks great as always. I’m surprised some magazine hasn’t contacted you to put your farm in their magazine! Anyway, love your farm. Lots of constant hard work. Blessings from OKC.
I only have 1 very important concern that is there's no fence around your pool. I've known of 2 children who have drowned and it's a frightening experience to go thru. Please put up a fence to save children from accidentally falling in.😢

The chickens are fighting to get to the feeders.
Fix the tarp over the pool where the water and leaves will run off.
Curved PVC pipe or slats that's easy to bend.
