As an American, most of the rap we are exposed to that is outside of the US is mostly trap or drill. To see a channel with all these artists doing this style of rap is something else, I love to see that even outside of here people are keeping real rap alive.

When you first hear an artist you either connect with them and follow them forever or you just have respect for what they do and keep an eye on them every now and then to peep the progression and hear the tracks. Datkid was always the latter for me.. but recenlty (past couple of years) Datkid has become one of my favourite artists to listen to. Makes you want to go back and listen to the old tracks to see what I might've been misunderstanding. It's hard to say this about someone I don't know personally but I'm proud of Datkid for his workrate and what seems like a positive path he's walking. Been setting a great example recently with these bangers. Much respect 👊💪✌
