James I agree, they've really taken a leap forward from back in their substance fueled rock roots. Not that that was bad, it's just that sometimes it was obvious that they didn't give their 100% live. Now they're really hitting the mainstream and doing very well.
Oh I hoped that you were somebody Someone I could count To pull me to my feet again When I was in doubt Oh now Mama do you hear me? Calling out your name Oh now Mama do you hear me? Calling out your name Calling out your name I'm the last cowboy in this town Empty veins and my plastic broken crown They said I swam the sea that ran aground They said I once was lost but now I'm truly found And I know the place but not the way I feel, I feel no shame Oh now mama do you hear my fear? It's coming after me Calling out your name Calling out your name Stay with me Stay with me And I threw your heart away Boy I know just what I said Let the phone cut in the way Being still downtown I say And I know you ran away, Oh I know but I'm feeling ok Now I found love, the feeling won't go Now I found love, the feeling won't go See you walk away Feeling okay now Happy now? Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me
I agree, I love foals and particularly this song, they have so much talent in song writing and expressivity, but they are not always the best group when it comes to being in-beat or in-tone ;)

It's weird that Yannis is also lead guitar it's usuallsy the rythm guitar with the singer otherwise the other guitarist is underrated from the group but anyway he's strong and nailed it
Helios SH both of them are not lead players. But I think Yannis is the better of the two where Jimmy is more about single note staccato lines. However rhythmically and playing intricate Math Rock lines is where they're at home. Walter and Jack are on another level though!
I’m gonna ask my boyfriend to make Yannis my hall pass. He’s literally the only other man I am attracted to; but damn is he smoking hot when he performs. SHEESH.
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, the King (or Ruler) of mankind, The god (or judge) of Mankind,- From the evil of the slinking whisperer- who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,- From among the jinn and mankind."
the quran described itself as a book of guidance for the god conscious good doers, truth, a revelation from God, a criterion (to know truth or falsehood), and a light, the quran says it is muhaymin over previous scriptures. The participle muhaymin is derived from the quadriliteral verb haymana, "he watched [over a thing]" or "controlled [it]", and is used here to describe the Qur'an as the determinant factor in deciding what is genuine and what is false in the earlier scriptures also, the quran says that it was revealed for all mankind, whereas the previous scriptures were revealed only for those people at that time. the quran says that the jews and Christians must accept the quran and believe in it. there are 66 books in the bible, the bible has many authors with many versions and editions, the bible (66 books) is nowhere mentioned in the quran, the quran doesn't recognize them. the only revelations the quran mentions is the taurat (quran says it was given to moses), injeel (Gospel singular, given to jesus, this could have been a book or it could have been a verbal revelation which jesus preached to people). most Christians assume the injeel (Gospel, sing.) that was given to jesus - is their four gospels (Mark, Matthew, Luke, John) or their new testament (27 books). This is not true, nowhere did allah say he inspred mark, luke, john, luke or paul. the four gospels even according to Christian scholars were not from Jesus time, they were composed decades later by unknown authors, in a different language. Jesus did not walk around with mark, luke, john, matthew . however, the present gospels do contain some of jesus teaching from his injeel. so Christians may say where is the injeel, well I don't know - but its not your new testament (27 books) the taurat was given to moses (according to the Quran), u don't have the taurat of moses - what u have is what people wrote with their own hands and claimed its from God. we muslims only accept sth from other books - if it agrees with the quran, if they sth which the quran says or if they say sth which contradicts the quran - then we reject it. 6.115, 18.27, 10.64 - not about book. about God's decree, his verdict, promise - none change it or prevent it, it must be fulfilled , even if they were about books, still that doesn't mean u have the torah of moses, what u have is what people wrote with their hands and claimed its from GOD, ANYONE can do that - somonne can write sth with their own hands and then claim its from God - and that's what ur bible is. Christians might ask 'where is the torah the quran is speaking about - well I don't know - but you Christians don't have it .. 2.75, 2.79 - they wrote with their own hands and claimed it was from God but it wasn't. Anyone can write sth with their own hands and claim it's from God. And God won't stop u. So this is what ur bible (50+books) is. So even if we agree with u that torah has never been changed then still u dont have the torah of moses, what u have is what they wrote with their own hands and claimed its from God. see Surah 5.12-14, 2.79, 2.75 etc. The quran doesn't recognise the Bible (66 books). It only recognises the Torah of Moses (which u don't have, what u have is what people wrote with their hands and then claimed its from, anyone can do that), and injeel given to jesus, Injeel is not ur new testament. FUCKOFFWITHTHEREALNAME Not good live? Have you ever been to see them? It's pretty difficult to replicate what they record, I agree Yannis' voice is a little inconsistent but the style of there songs makes it very hard to play in this kind of environment. Not to mention if you see them at a gig it is incredible, they literally bring the place alive, best live band I've ever seen. Playing well live is about more than just replicating a song the way it sounds on an album you know
his drumming during the solo is phenomenal. The crash hits almost sound delayed but they arent. pure class.
I visited this video now and saw my like smashed. Wonder in what year I left it. Maybe 2017
My favorite alt rock band.
Holy shit. That solo. Yannis really did well on this one.
+DivvyDeluxe I think they are all top notch musicians. I love how Jack throws those fills in.
Nick They've developed so well, they've always been good but in the last couple of years as musicians they've reached new heights..
James I agree, they've really taken a leap forward from back in their substance fueled rock roots. Not that that was bad, it's just that sometimes it was obvious that they didn't give their 100% live. Now they're really hitting the mainstream and doing very well.
This is an insanely good version of a very very good song. Wow.
He totally nailed this solo
no this iteration isn't whats on the other versions
Liked it on the movie Criminal Love it live the band are terrific accompanying him playing electric guitar and singing. 🎉
The music video to this is sick highly recommended
Get so lost in his voice.Heaven
Oh I hoped that you were somebody

It's coming after me
Calling out your name

Stay with me

And I threw your heart away
Boy I know just what I said
Let the phone cut in the way

Try to focus just on the music man. 99% of listeners of the world don't care if the guitar is off beat, out of tune or else.
